Can we get an update on what/if anything, CCP is going to do about the 2 bil ISK a week farming that is the PC lockdown right now? It's kind of a big deal and you guys have been hush hush for two weeks.

The only difference is that there are no blueberries in PC. No wasted slots on a team, and the gameplay is much more intense for it.
PC is the only reason to play. If I wanted to play a decent FPS there are much better options, both from an FPS option and a Vehicular perspective.
My WoT account has been getting a good workout lately. Just bought myself an IS-6 and a JT 8.8 for crew training, since it looks like there won't be any PC until April. Just starting to grind up Warframe on PC as well, and will probably move onto BF4 once Second Assault finally drops.

well if it takes years to reactivate a game mode they already had implemented I feel bad for ccp.
aside from that though, PC just doesn't work, first you have different time zones fighting over different districts, with 1 hour windows it's very easy for people to do what nyan chan did and force players into a position where you just cannot attack them easily.
aside from this you got the added lag since one of the two teams are not operating from similar servers.
next you got the sheer limited nature of the game mode, 1 battle per day is nothing compared to what players really want from a competitive game, these players log on fight some pc battles, then grind out pub stomps in pub matches because they have nothing else to do.
it's far to restrictive only allowing the top percentile of player to ever participate screwing 95% of your player base.
the list of problems with pc goes on. (seriously I want to stop kicking this dead horse it's been discussed to death)
it's not worth the trouble to fix just remake it properly. |

Maybe not, but since there is no other option, it is what we have to try and figure out some sort of acceptable solution or at least in my case just walk away from the game.
Without a full team vs full team option, I have zero interest in pretty much any game. Dust players in general seem very content stepping on noobs, but I don't concern myself with that. I cap out grinding whatever items I need from Gallente and Amarr FW, and try to do it as quickly as possible.
Pubs of any sort in this game are garbage. Either you get massacred or commit a warcrime trying to get WP before the match is over.
Whatever, I've got other games to play. I'm tempted to bring AFK'ing back until Fanfest.

Well, it's confirmed that if you do anything unseemly to bring in ISK other than locking districts, it's ban worthy.
So, if you want to try to keep up with that broken mechanic by using another broken mechanic they will upend your account.
Anybody else remember how they ****** up a vehicle refund back around 1.0 or 1.1 and allowed players to walk with hundreds of millions of ISK worth of inventory?
What a bunch of hypocrites.

^ this is what happens when you are an insignificant player in an insignificant corp. you lose perspective on what breaks this game and what the whole skill progression is in the game for.

This thread is about getting a response as to what CCP plans to do about the passive ISK farm from corps launching fake attacks against themselves that the PC mechanic has become.
