Recently I have been experimenting with an affordable fit for my ninja knifing skill set. Surprisingly, despite it's drawbacks, it has actually helped me secure a 15-9 KDR during my last FW match today.

Scout M-1
1x Ishukone Nova Knives
1x BPO Sub-machine Gun
1x Basic Sidearm Damage Modifier
2x Basic Kinetic Catalyzers
The SMG is actually my backup in case I needed to help someone which happened only once during that last FW match or to try to draw the enemy's attention away from my squad. As usual, my real primary weapon are the Ishukone Nova Knives which offer a massive damage advantage.
Base Damage: 200 HP per blade (400 HP total) before charge
With Maxed-Out Minmatar Scout Dropsuit skill (5% per level): 500 HP total before charge
With Maxed-Out Nova Knife Proficiency skill (3% per level): 575 HP total before charge
With Basic Sidearm Damage Modifier (3%): 592 HP total before charge.
1,184 HP damage total with full charge.
So already this suit was rocking despite the lack of equipment, lack of grenades, lack of anything more than a basic damage mod just because of the knife alone.
BTW, during that last FW match fighting for the Minmatar, I was among one of about 3 people guarding the "B" objective located in grid H6 of the Fracture Road map. We were holding our ground until a wave of red berries came to force their way in. One by one they kept running into the room with all of them being assaults on the first floor room by the stairwell where the objective was at. But as each of them kept turning a corner I already had my knives pre-charged and waiting so I one-hit killed them without giving them a chance to react. One by one, they just kept on dropping like flies. A couple managed to dodge the first hit only to die to a follow-up. They eventually gave up and moved on elsewhere. 7 red berries died in that onslaught to my only knife. I didn't even bother to pull out the SMG. Just straight up slash attacks.
