Now to be a bit serious in this thread.
In EVE The Gallente balance armor with speed, focusing on active tanking to defend themselves. (poorly translated to DUST)
For Offensive measures we use Hybrid weapons, in DUST case, we use blasters devastating DPS close range weapons. (outperformed by most rifles and the two other 'Plasma' weapons are horrible.)
Another type of offensive measure we use are Drones....which aren't even in the game yet or anytime soon. Give us Sentry guns at least...something CCP (Not converted to DUST at all)
For Electronic warfare Gallente Specialize primarily on sensor dampening. In EVE sensor dampeners are in the Mid slots so they don't interfere with their tanking ability but in DUST these modules do interfere with tanking ability. (poorly translated to DUST)
Gallente however arguably have some of the best sensory ability in the game competitive with the Caldari.
The Active scanner as an equipment slot might be just the thing that does that. Our suits are passively stealth while the active module [equipment] allows us to see. (I guess that's alright if profile dampeners didn't screw with tanking)
For the more offensive Electronic Warfare Tactic Gallente use Warp prevention measures. That's blocking your ability to warp away to safety or run away quickly using a Micro Warp Drive. (Not Converted to DUST at all)
So there we have it. Out of the 6 things that I think make a Gallente a Gallente only 1 of them is present and it's offset by another closely related trait.
tl;dr In DUST 514 Gallente is the most poorly represented Race in the game, that and Amarr. |

tl;dr In DUST 514 Gallente is the most poorly represented Race in the game, that and Amarr. actually minmatar are the most poorly represented in dust. why? they have the worst regen vs Ehp ratio, no speed advantage (.3m/s extra movement speed is nothing), all their weapons have massive fall off. all their weapons are garbage except for CR and SMG (because they were all nerfed). They have virtually no hit&run capabilities. so, minmatar are basically in the same boat as galente.
I see your point. In a matter of fact, did CCP get anything translated correctly?

Now the Government is a different story but it's the same thing you just said.
