Get in a scout suit with a shotgun, ANY shotgun, and while sprinting, shoot one shot, then immediately start sprinting again (make sure you have sufficient stamina). I've tested this extensively and I've always been getting the same result: I sprint slower (at the speed of a heavy) after shooting. I rememeber this bug being present ever since aim assist came out....Why hasn't CCP fixed this yet?

Another thing I despise in a scout Is getting stuck on stairs. More specifically, the ones on the Gallente facility on that one objective next to a CRU. But I think this is another type of bug.
It's so stupid how scouts are getting neglected by CCP for this bug. In 1.8 they better fix this, even though having the cloak "might" help, if you have to suddenly sprint after using your weapon, we'll end up in the same situation as before...running in quicksand.

It happens after equipment use as well as weapon useGǪ So activating the cloak may actually initiate this bug as well, assuming it is not fixed in 1.8. If you crouch and sprint it fixes the bug, only useful in when not in combat, but better than nothing.
The only other way of avoiding this bug (as far as I know of and seen for the shotgun) is to INITIALLY NOT sprint just normal movement, (at least 2 seconds) and then begin sprinting.

Interesting that it exists in quite a few weapons/equipment yet it's not addressed by CCP.....
