The glow effect is no longer present when I am being repaired by a team mate.
Is this an occurring problem for everyone? Or is it just me..

If they did take it away, I don't think they should have. I think that they should have just tweaked it

I have mixed feelings.
I liked knowing I was being repped, but the effect was a bit excessive.
Maybe just an audible notification like a light humming sound when you're connected?
Maybe a different color applied to the Armor bar on the HUD while being repped?

YEAH! That would be great!  Maybe the Armor bar could pulse or something! I just want there to be an indication so that I wouldn't have to constantly stare at the HUD, or have to turn around when doubting I whether I'm being repped or not :P It's not even that, I run reps myself and I would want a player to know that they have a repair tool on them

Best idea for replacement I've read was just to change the color of their hud when being repped. As a new convert to the repper it sure would be nice if they knew not to just haul ass away from me.

Yeah, this sucks as a heavy. Truth be told, the animation was overkill, but it also sucks having to turn around all the time to see if a logi is still on you. They should have just dialed it back a bit.

Yeah it would be :) I just don't understand why important aspects in this game are being neglected, or being removed completely.
The development of this game should focus on things they can improve now, rather than worrying about what to introduce in the coming future.

Something needs to be done. I've lost more than a few heavies who didn't realize the beam got broken by a box or a corner or something.
Also, squad mates I can always tell to hold up for a second to get repped, but I'm a rep tool polygamist; I want to share... Blueberries need lovin' too! They have no way to know.
