I also find GG to be disrespectful tbh. I mean think about why you're saying it.
If the game comes down to 1v6, what exactly was so good about it? If you think the game was good, either you're disrespecting the solo individual or you're disrespecting yourself for being that bad and calling it good.
It's nothing more than silent gloating over a ridiculous proposition. |

It's nothing more than silent gloating over a ridiculous proposition. GG o7. There's nothing disrespectful about it. Just get off your high horses guys. I see this so much in games it makes me sick. "I'm too elite for you brah!" Nobody really gives a s hit if you find it disrespectful. You sound like old ladies getting offended because someone said "Damn" on TV.
So, now you're telling me to get off of my nonexistent high horse when I'm simply telling you why I find it disrespectful from a competitive standpoint.
That action is also disrespectful. So I believe we can conclude you are indeed a disrespectful individual, and OP was entirely correct. |

I'll add I personally don't give a s hit if you find me disrespectful, mostly because you're not a real person. You're part of a game.
So now I'm not a real person either. This text is just magically generating itself.
I see we have gone from disrespectful to downright delusional. |

Delusional would be thinking players who send me a Good Game message are gloating in some way. I'm pretty sure that's borderline narcissistic. In the words of Buzz Lightyear "You are a sad, strange little man, and you have my pity. Farewell."

You're attempting to gloat and act disrespectful right now, as you have been from the moment you attempted to post.
I've yet to see any indication that I am incorrect in my assertion.
I also believe you are not using the word narcissistic correctly. Being under the delusion that people who play a video game do not exist in real life, however, would not only be narcissistic, but is also frankly a sign of some deeper mental problems.
Seriously bro, I would really recommend getting checked out. No one wants to hear about you on the 9:00 news. |

Yet if they were to lose I guarantee there wouldn't be a GG mail afterwards. Meh that's just you. I'm bloody lucky to find a balanced or challenging match in FW...... GG is a sign of mutual respect that you put up a good fight win or lose
There is no mutual respect, though. It has to go both ways. The point is the GG'r hasn't actually earned any yet. He has done NOTHING to be deemed worthy of respect. Nothing.
If I go into a match solo and have to hold off an organized team essentially by myself, why the hell would I consider it a good game? I wouldn't. Would I gain respect for my opponents from that experience alone? No. Hell no. I'm doing more than any of them. Why would I give any respect for inferior play?
Now, if the fight was even and not entirely lopsided it might be a different story. Real GG's are not unwelcome. But those are incredibly rare. Most of you guys just send them after winning a majorly lopsided match, and that's not respectful. It's being tacky. |

Basically you run around soloing matches for whatever reason. If you win I'm sure you feel some sort of godlike satisfaction in yourself but if you lose you simply get to blame it on the fact that the other team has a full squad? Make some friends and maybe one day you too can squad up. I don't even know why I'm posting in here anymore.
..... I try not to stir up drama on the forums. I really do. But if you are going to talk like a hyper active 13 year old who's had too much chocolate, I guess it falls to me to put your dumb ass back in your seat.
The absolute worst members of my corporation are leaps and bounds ahead of your best members, and I have plenty of opportunities to squad up if I feel like it.
That does not mean I am going to choose to do so the majority of the time. I set out to challenge myself in pubs, and become better by putting myself in difficult situations with no easy solution. You set out to hold hands like a witless pansy and circle jerk. We have different goals, clearly. |
