Considering that, by using a 'Dren' Logistic suit with only II in Minmatar Logistic (and there's a story behind this, but that's for another time), I can make well over 4k WP off a losing team, I'm going to go out of my way and just say that you deal with really ****** logibros. On an average, if I go full logibro (which is rare, considering my pledge to being a near-constant Commando), and given the team ISN'T complete ****, I'll get 3k WP, just from healing, resupplying, and reviving with just advanced gear. It's not unusual for me to go 0-2 or even 0-4 and top a board in Domination.

While everyone is out dying, I'm just feeding the machine of war. No use for me to actually get directly involved in firefights if I'm going to be support based and I think that's what is wrong. People forgot how to be strong support instead of offense. I've always said that the logibro is the key to the frontline, even if he isn't on the frontline.

While, yes, doing the "good Samaritan" duty during events will not get you what the people killing are getting, it doesn't mean you have to be hurt over it (which is what I think actually was a stem in the anti-BPO movement, though, again, another story for another time). Just do your job and harden the **** up. Someone needs to kill and someone needs to give that killer ammo.

ADAM-OF-EVE Dead Man's Game 1012	Posted - 2014.02.15 20:02:00 - [1] - Quote every event you do relies on killing with certain weapons or certain suits but nothing ever relates to logis. what would i need with 100 proto light weapons or assault/heavy/scout suits. i have stacks what i have earned passively through the odd kill over the other events which i will likely never use as a logi. can we at least get 1 event where the rewards match our role. the feb event for instance would have been a great opportunity for us to earn something doing out role with so many heavies needing repairs. my suggestion would be: for every 5 kills you receive a guardian point for while healing a none heavy you receive a aur core repair tool upto a maximum of 100. for every 5 kills you receive a guardian point for while healing a heavy you receive 1 aur core focused repair tool upto 100. this way logibros receive a role related reward much like assaults and heavies would. You give yourself a reason. That's the bottomline of every fitting, every "role", every suit, every weapon, and every module. Do you know why Commandos went out and pretty much annihilated everything for those suits? Because they are Commandos, it is their suit. Unlike the logistics, the Commandos need higher suits in order to maximize their place (whatever it may be, as we all don't do the exact same thing). For my 'Dren' Logistic, I can put any level of equipment on it and be "there". 'Dren' Logistic is a Minmatar Logistic, so naturally I have it built around the Repair Tool first and everything else second. I'm "there" with my 'Dren'. I don't need any other Minmatar Logistic suit to do what I use it for. It's "there". My Gallente Commando, however, needed to be able to go into gk.0 in order to maximize its life, unlike my logibro suits that are already optimized for their role. Not to even mention that I have a very specific purpose for my 'Dren' Logistic unlike my Commando that fills the void of several roles. My Commando is more expensive than any suit I have ever ran. I dare say that the only suit cheaper than my 'Dren' Logistic is my suicide scouts (and yet again there's a story about that, but some other time). If you don't want to logibro, don't. I don't want some asshat following me around because he has to. I've been in that place before and they always end up being the most garbage logibros I ever had the displeasure of meeting. You talk to any of the old Commandos- we run Commando because we want to. If we get something out of it, cool beans, but that does not control us. Be a logibro because you want to. Being greedy makes a ****-poor reason for doing something you don't want to do. That and Logibros make some mad money while people throw their fancy suits away. This is a signature. I personally don't just "logi" when I logi, sometimes being a good bro means clearing the reds so you can rep, revive, and resupply. I got plenty of gear for the killer events, which helps me stay fitted up for more killing when need be. It would be nice for an equipment based event, maybe for every certain threshold of team resupply you could get hives, and for healing given you could get repair tools, and for revives you could get needles and so on. It would be a straining process to mine that data but if it's possible I'd be up for it. I don't think anybody thinks they "have" to logi, but some ppl would like some icing on that cake. Sure you can get wp and bank cash with a bpo suit that's the whole purpose of bpo, it's not about that at all, it's about there being equal attention to detail paid for each class. We've had heavy only events and commando events, rifles and side arms, scouts and knives, etc. Nothing that doesn't revolve round various ways to kill. It'd be a nice change of pace I think. Observe the public trust. Protect the innocent. Uphold the law.
