every event you do relies on killing with certain weapons or certain suits but nothing ever relates to logis. what would i need with 100 proto light weapons or assault/heavy/scout suits. i have stacks what i have earned passively through the odd kill over the other events which i will likely never use as a logi. can we at least get 1 event where the rewards match our role.
the feb event for instance would have been a great opportunity for us to earn something doing out role with so many heavies needing repairs.
my suggestion would be:
for every 5 kills you receive a guardian point for while healing a none heavy you receive a aur core repair tool upto a maximum of 100.
for every 5 kills you receive a guardian point for while healing a heavy you receive 1 aur core focused repair tool upto 100.
this way logibros receive a role related reward much like assaults and heavies would.

where is my bonus sp/isk/items?
we get none.. that is unless we go killing instead. oh wait we cant do that otherwise we play into the assault logi mentality that is killing off our role.
i'm a logi bro always repairing only rarely killing so for me more heavies doesn't mean more wp. it just means the same amount of wp just from different suits.
so while you are all making your extra 750k sp we are still doing our job getting next to nothing. only way we can take part is to give up and start killing

as a logi do i:
switch and become a heavy for a bonus 750k sp and proto weapons
or
become an assault and kill heavies for potential 10mil isk and 500k sp
or stay logi and get virtually nothing extra
i'm a logi with a repair tool. when players are killing i'm repairing. why should i put my repair tool away and fit for damage just for an event., our role should be included, not excluded.
the whole "more heavies to repair" argument is invalid because i'm always repairing and guarding anyway and the event wont change that so heavy or not i'm still getting the same wp but no extra sp

another even passes us by. i rarely play now during events. it annoys the hell out of me ccp keeps ignoring logis during these events

still waiting for a logi event
tired of seeing players running around in their rewards from events while us logis pay for all our own gear every time.
something needs to be done to accommodate us in kill events so everyone is rewarded
i got 28 commando suits from the commando event while all my corp mates got 2-300 not to mention all the other rewards such as isk and SP. where it the fairness in that.

also this whole notion its logis dropping all the uplinks and hives and repairs is a load of rubbish. most uplinks are dropped by scouts these days and most hives dropped by assaults and commando's. logi's are struggling to keep their place on the battlefield.

Considering that, by using a 'Dren' Logistic suit with only II in Minmatar Logistic (and there's a story behind this, but that's for another time), I can make well over 4k WP off a losing team, I'm going to go out of my way and just say that you deal with really ****** logibros. On an average, if I go full logibro (which is rare, considering my pledge to being a near-constant Commando), and given the team ISN'T complete ****, I'll get 3k WP, just from healing, resupplying, and reviving with just advanced gear. It's not unusual for me to go 0-2 or even 0-4 and top a board in Domination. While everyone is out dying, I'm just feeding the machine of war. No use for me to actually get directly involved in firefights if I'm going to be support based and I think that's what is wrong. People forgot how to be strong support instead of offense. I've always said that the logibro is the key to the frontline, even if he isn't on the frontline. While, yes, doing the "good Samaritan" duty during events will not get you what the people killing are getting, it doesn't mean you have to be hurt over it (which is what I think actually was a stem in the anti-BPO movement, though, again, another story for another time). Just do your job and harden the **** up. Someone needs to kill and someone needs to give that killer ammo.
so what you are saying is i should never be rewarded during any event because i have the potential to earn more wp when an event is not happening. that pretty much sums up what you just said

you have completely ignored the whole point of this thread.
i have seen killers top the leaderboards as much as any logi. yet in an event like the commando event they get suits and weapons and isk aswel as bonus sp just for doing their normal job
so what, this event gives bonus sp for wp. it does that for everyone. everyone is rewarded the same for doing what they always do.
in item reward events all killers are rewarded with more while the logis stay at the same place earning nothing extra.
what is the point of an event that rewards the killers but leaves the support players with nothing. where is my incentive to log on and do my job. why should i have to change my play style to kill to be rewarded for playing when the killers never have to change play style.
this is the point.
