Had to spend 3/4 of the match using swarms because of tank spam. At least we won this one. 3. Literally 14 snipers for the last half of the match. The first half was very close and pretty fun. The second half was not. 4. Only two players other than me got over 600 WP. For an entire skirmish match. And it wasn't a redline. Don't even know why I'm surprised, this isn't uncommon. I wish there was more snipers. With sniper rifles that shot 1000m. Plus I wish tanks actually worked like tanks. Could you imagine what would happen if a DUST tank actually was as strong as a tank should be? Swarms of scrubs would be crying. Mostly in the US, but other places too. At least I'm pretty sure.

I have played so many skirmish and domination games where the one team controls the points for the entire game yet the other side still has 100 clones at the end. They simply don't try. When you get redlined or close to it, I don't blame people for breaking out the sniper gear, but to not try to win? Why play? Because, that's why.

Fear my TAC sniper rifle! Pew pew pew Sees prototompers... Sees blueberries start to snipe... Pulls out commando suit with laser rifle and swarm launcher...

If we were making it realistic, then AV would also be incredibly powerfully, so I'd be fine with that. Sees prototompers... Sees blueberries start to snipe... Pulls out commando suit with laser rifle and swarm launcher...

An actual tank can be disabled by a single shot from an infantry anti-tank weapon, and costs thousands of times the price of a rifle. I think a lot of people are sick of seeing the same old pubstomping crews every day and just ride out the match. For example, every morning this week I have hit S.A.L.U.K.I and Ravenclaw warts four or five matches in a row, on the same team and all going tryhard in full proto. Some blue dots gave up instantly and those games we lost. When you get a few other guys that try, those matches we won and were actually good. I run basic and ADV in pubs cause there are enough 24/7 tryhards out there we don't need anymore. Besides, when you beat someone relying on gear with a basic fit it lets you know you got game. I don't go positive every match, but I don't care about my KD, 1.15 I think. But I break a lot of proto in basic gear cause half of em, well, they just can't win without it, it's funny when you look at the leaderboard and see that guy you killed running the 200K fit go 24/15! That sucks running proto, positive KD yes, but awful when going against basic, ADV gear squads. And I love knowing I killed the no skill prick with a Toxin and basic BPO fit two or three times. So don't give up blue dots, you can do it, just don't be a bunch of sissy's and give up at the first sign of a proto squad. CEO Whiskey squad leader Invictus Maneo~"I Remain Unvanquished"~

Theres a massive difference between a GÇ£NoobGÇ¥ and a GÇ£NewbieGÇ¥ and I suggest you learn those differences first. I live in England and I will never go to play in the European servers because they are empty and full of newbies. As soon as people realise you can change the servers in settings, everyone moves onto the North American server, which is where the real mercs hang out.... Because of the ******* LAG. I'm not quite such a ping time fundamentalist but it still matters. American is less enjoyable but I can tolerate it. Asian is ridiculous - only 'brutal/hardcore' because your hits don't register. As for Oceanic But you're right about the noob/newbie distinction. Usually I try to keep the two distinct, but most Dust players don't seem to and I guess I was getting similarly lazy. Even so, the corps I mentioned are even less newbies than they are noobs. I for one am a proud noob, but without even the excuse of being a newbie
