It's easy to kill a tank.
Doesn't take another tank, though that's the best method if you don't care about winning the match (or are playing Ambush), but a forge gun allows AV and AI capability. And the Magsec is coming for your AR-in-a-can.
Swarms are gimped. PlC has always been gimped. We know this.
Adapt.
Stick your REs to our hulls.
Suicide with a Jihad Jeep - nitrous is helpful for getting that last bit of speed before impact.
If you're half-decent with a forge you should still be able to solo most tanks. If you can't (some HAVs are solid - dual hardened vehicles of any stripe are pretty tough to take down) being a friend. I assume you have some. Maybe you can co-ordinate in squad chat if you can't.
Adapt or die. We did for months. It's your turn.
You might like to know that the conditions are still bugged in your favour. Presumably CCP's fixing those bugs. It's pretty clear that balance is coming.
In the meantime, QQ moar - c[_] <--- insert tears here for maximum efficiency.
P.S. I have a confession to make - I don't use my HAV's much anymore. It's tedious. My DAU does the job nearly as efficiently, and with much more entertainment on my part.

It's true, infantry are adapting. Many still like to cry.
The spam is a problem, and it's one of two situations where I'll pull a tank (the other being where a green is having issues with his HAV and is likely to lose a lot of ISK soon).
I have no problems with using infantry AV in 'bush, except against spam.
And those tankers bitching and whining about jeeps? Bads, the lot of them. Oh, I guarantee that one day I might be amongst their number, but that day will come only if infantry AV is buffed from its current gimped state.
If they remove it without buffing AV somewhat I'll be mad.

If you read, I'm saying it's still entirely possible to kill tanks. I point out that AV is gimped. I want swarms and PLC to be buffed. I want this game to be challenging for me.
Contrary to popular belief, tanks have only been a 'baby carriage' since 1.7. Prior to that there were two roles worse off, and one was another vehicle.
@Crimson, ran out of quotes and don't want to double post, but I'd just like to point out that I actually avoid using my HAV these days? Pretty sure I've made that clear.
I also am inclined to agree that vehicle weapons need reworking, though I'd say damage should be halved, at least on blasters. This is because otherwise HAVs are defenseless against infantry and lack a purpose - their current design philosophy is around solo play. Requiring more persons to effectively operate the vehicle would be counterproductive to the current direction of vehicle-AV balance. I am rather of the opinion that Heavy suits, being the most vulnerable to vehicle weapons, should have a 25%? resistance against vehicle weapons inherent to them (tied to the suit not a skill) and that blaster turrets (being the primary reason that HAVs are a bit broke right now) should have either their vehicle damage (or their total damage) halved. As it is they're the highest-DPS weapon in the game (aside from missiles) and probably the most versatile (assuming the user's competent).
Anyway, my rage has abated. As might be evident by the above wall of text.
