I know the title makes me sound like a **** but think about it, with all the crap noobie dust players write up in the forums we need a way to make so only those vested in the game can voice their opinion and maybe not a corp requirement but maybe an SP requirement

There is literally no metric you can use to evaluate whether someone is going to post intelligently or not effectively. Newbies can be smart and reasonable and veterans can be raging idiots. No offense, but your suggestion is pointless. |

You are not helping.
Who's, meaning who is. Not whose, as in "whose fault is it that you didn't learn to spell?" Elitism. I'm sure there's a joke somewhere in there about not being able to spell elitism correctly, but I'm not sure what it is. |

You do realize it doesn't take particular much to create a corporation. That aside....
As for really 'green' players who know nothing about the game, let alone Dust Corporations, I would assume that you would make concessions on the the Rookie Help and Corporation Recruitment threads. How is a player supposed to engage the game if they don't have to tools to engage the community body for help, questions, and legitimate concerns?

Terrible idea is terrible.
So people outside of corps can't look for corps? Ask for advice?

I would rather there be a requirement that people need to be on the forums to be in a corporation.

Naaaah.... Major naaah.... This detracts from the community as a whole and we need more voices here to catch things. Being part of a player corporation is a bad way to try and brute force it and there is literally no evidence what-so-ever that it would help, let alone solve anything.
Everyone's opinion is important and ultimately it's not what the person says but why they're saying it. We [the community] need to focus on educating new players, not segregating or subjugating them. A lot of times someone will make a post and it's met, almost immediately, with snide and sarcastic remarks that degrade the person - even I'm guilty of this (****, it's my hallmark).
This isn't a good excuse though and we really need to be a bit more welcoming on the forefront of the community and leave the malice to the game itself. There are plenty of opportunities to **** someone over in-game.

A post like this pops up from time to time on the EVE forums. This is the first one I've seen on the DUST forums.
It goes to show that whatever system we use to stop badposters, the OP needs to be included in that system.

their opinions are not less relevant than ours. we just don't appreciate those opinions because we already put in our time or because we understand something about new eden that makes those issues make sense. |

Being in a corp doesn't make you any less of a noob, and not being experienced in the game doesn't mean you have no good ideas

No... And you do sound like a **** , this idea sounds worse than every noob question and proposal in the history of dust forums.... Your proposal takes away free speech and implies that only the "Forum Elite" are allowed to voice opinions.
