I'm sure there's a joke somewhere in there about not being able to spell elitism correctly, but I'm not sure what it is.

This detracts from the community as a whole and we need more voices here to catch things. Being part of a player corporation is a bad way to try and brute force it and there is literally no evidence what-so-ever that it would help, let alone solve anything. Everyone's opinion is important and ultimately it's not what the person says but why they're saying it. We [the community] need to focus on educating new players, not segregating or subjugating them. A lot of times someone will make a post and it's met, almost immediately, with snide and sarcastic remarks that degrade the person - even I'm guilty of this (**, it's my hallmark). This isn't a good excuse though and we really need to be a bit more welcoming on the forefront of the community and leave the malice to the game itself.
