Having grown up the the Gallente Federation, I didn't get much education on certain specific aspects of how my people's society functions, and right now I'm very curious about the economics of the Republic.
Exactly how does it work?
How large a part does the individual tribe governments, or national leadership play in production and services?
How is the economy typically managed?
What is the relationship of the Minmatar corporations to the Minmatar government?
Detailed answers would be greatly appreciated. Don't be afraid to share big paragraphs.

Honestly, I'm not too sure myself about the Minmatar economy. Because of the large part the tribes play in Matari society, i would imagine that each tribe would have it's own economy, in a way. You might be able to compare it to the individual megacorporations of the Caldari State, though I doubt the methods of operation would be anything alike.
I do know that many Minmatar corporations are strongly bound to the tribes themselves, and even each tribe acts as it's own 'corporation'
