The current PC system is flawed in so many ways. Even when the PC district lock exploit gets fixed at some point in the future, PC won't change that much because there will still be 16 man A teams for a specific corp or an entire alliance that will still be able to hold 10+ districts. On top of current PC functionality enabling so few players to actually be involved, PC is often very slow (which is part of the reason 16 man A teams can hold so many districts). Outside of DUST, have you ever heard of an attack with a warning 2 days prior? There's nothing even close to a surprise attack in DUST. To me, I think PC timelines should be moved back from days to hours (1 hour warning prior to battle) with the only thing occurring daily is the sale of excess clones. To keep burn out from occurring, this could be implemented where a specific district could only be attacked a few times a day If winning battles. If attacks were able to happen every hour, you would definitely see different players participating in PC as it would be a necessity. No more would you see the same 16 man A team (unless they stopped sleeping) and no longer could a single corp fight for an entire alliance. Best of all, no more would you see a single corp or single alliance owning 80-90% of PC. I could go into more detail of what I think should happen but I think I'll leave this open ended for discussion.
