Important to note but almost sure CCP overlooked, the ratio of stamina to stamina regen affects how frequently you can jump. Since jumping is based on a percentage of your overall stamina, if you have high stamina but low stamina regen then you won't be able to jump very much, since jumping will take up a lot of stamina and you don't regen it very fast. However, if you have low stamina and high stamina regen you can jump very often because jumping only costs a little stamina and you regen it fast.
