So I've played a few rounds of Skirmish so far this morning, and I've been the top player each round and have gotten paid between ~348k and ~390k.
Is this a new change? I'm loving it so far.

From what I understand, ISK payout is partially determined by the cost of gear lost during the match. So you must have been fighting a bunch of mouth breathers thinking that wearing proto gear makes you invici-god-mode.

Congrats on the fat paycheck. Yes ISK payouts are based on how expensive the gear the enenemy team is using and the payouts are divided among your own team based on warpoints.
When I smash nyain lag in ambush I usually make just under 500K, they rely on they protoscans with their armor stacked gallogis so much that dual dampeners and boundless CR is their downfall

Plus if you do very well and your teammates not so much (like say you score 2500 WP and second place on your team only has 900 or something) than you're payout will be pretty big because you made up a big portion of your team.

i started running as squad lead the other day. after dropping an orb on a group of proto's and killing 10 i got a payout of 553k isk. i was very happy with that =)

I knew the proto thing where if enemies bring out their best gear you get paid more...I didn't know that if there is a large disparity in warpoints between you at the top and your teammates you got paid more.

It's based off of how much gear they lose, and WP you gain.
I remember I did a Domination with some friends at the start of the last 3x SP event. We went to town on a bunch of guys who spammed proto, and I ran logi for around 4.5k WP.
I pulled a 600k Paycheck. Biggest one I've ever gotten from a pub.
Nothing says "F**K YOU!" like a direct Flaylock to the face.

the WP just ranks you higher on pay out. You will get the same % for first if you have 300 or3000 WP.

The most I have ever Gotten was around 700k. It was a Dom and both sides went down to less than 10 clones so it was a long game, and I was 1st with bout 5500 WP

It's pretty damn easy to earn points as a Logibro, so they tend to get paid the most.
I went 46/0... I was third place behind people with 18/3 and 12/2
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

I had a game where i took down 10-15 STD tanks while only losing 1 and it netted me 680k

it baced off of what your team kills and blows up
if your team only kills drop suits you get 200 - 300
if your team blows up alot of tanks and drop ships your looking at a pay if a win 400 - 1 mill
a loss will be less 200 - 400

Matchmaking was great last night, payouts were great last night. Hope this trend continues. Hadn't had that much fun playing Dust last night in months. |
