Is that a bad thing? People tend to say that a game is like COD when they are trying to insult it. I like playing games like COD. COD means action packed, CQC, fast and variety.
I don't think COD is bad, it's a very good game and a lot of people play it for a reason.
That said, Titan Fall is more of a mix between Halo and Unreal.

I've heard Battlefield 2142 is an awesome game, and it looks awesome in videos, but I doubt it will be around much longer, as it's already old. If that's a question of preference, then I'd choose BF 2142, as Titanfall really does look like another Black Ops 2 or something like it.

That is the general consensus of people that hadn't played the beta yet . They wouldn't be all the much wrong because the gun play is COD like , but dust is kinda too. Anyway many many people that played the beta says it was really fun to play. But of course people here is gone downplay TF in comparison to dust when it comes out . |

The only thing that is going to keep TF from over taking COD is the fact that it won't be on PS4, PS3 or Wii U.

It's obviously not a bad thing if you like COD's arcade, twitch shooter mechanics. I've personally had my enjoyment of that style and I don't mind letting COD continue in that style. But seeing TF play so much like COD is enough for me to decide not to buy, because I'd like to play something that's more different. The market's becoming over saturated with COD clones and I'd rather spend my money supporting something with a little more originality.
