What you should be concerned about is the fact that Titanfall is expected to have sequels. It will expand and become a better franchise as time goes on.
Dust will never achieve the level of FPS action seen in the very first Titanfall's beta, no matter how long it goes on. Think about that for a bit. |

I think you're wrong personally, you just need to look at EVE and how much it's changed in 10 years to see the CCP design philosophy at work. And EVE players got all the expansions and everything for free. Yes, you could argue that by saying that EVE players pay a subscription fee per month, but if that's what it takes to make Dust great, I'll happily give CCP my hard earned money. And if I'm wrong. It's (currently) a free game and even if it wasn't I'm still having fun from it, so nothing really lost there. I'll move onto something else if the game dies. Maybe Titanfall, maybe something not even started to be made yet.
I've played EVE for about a decade.
It plays almost the exact same as it did at launch, with the key difference being that its nearly impossible to succeed as a solo speed tanked pvp'r anymore. The only things that ever change with the game are number differences. The only two legit content expansions as far as im concerned were Apocrypha and Incursion. The only major graphical facelift was Trinity.
Everything inbetween was filler with small tidbits of content.
With Dust, the game isn't going to change. Vehicles will be vehicles, guns will be guns, dropsuits will be dropsuits. They will add new stuff in those directions slowly, but the game will never change. Just like Eve has never changed.
And I hate to break it to you, but EVE became good because it was a good game to begin with that simply lacked content. Dust happens to be a bad game at its core, and no amount of content over time will ever save it from that. For Dust to be good it would have to have a completely different engine with a completely different netcode with completely different movement speeds and TTK. That isn't going to happen. |

This is apples and oranges. TF is like playing Hungry Hungry Hippos and DUST a game of Chess. Both will offer things that the other can't so comparing them is kind of futile IMHO. Also, good grief @ all you jaded retards who complain about how **** the game is. I feel even more sorry for those that babble on that the game will never get better cause that means you're wasting your finite minutes of your life on something you deem inferior and ultimately set to fail. Way to live your life brah!  Those who are just fronting and say that DUST is **** because all the 'cool' jaded vets do it while deep down believing otherwise are perhaps the biggest clowns. Bottom line is if you don't enjoy the game nor believe it will ever meet your expectation, wake up and GTFOutta here. Seriously, go open the window, get some fresh air...go outside and get some serotonin and enjoy life. FYI I love playing DUST and believe the game has a bright future, that's why I'm here. It's a matter of turtle and the hare and all the short sighted chumps are backing the noobs choice. But y'all continue wasting your life here, being jaded. lol
