Simple enough option that is badly needed. I just can not learn to fly without proper control of my vehicle, and flight games are played best with inverted y axis.
Just giving the option would be a great thing. Please put in this small little thing that will do so much to help. |

I push forward on my left stick, the dropship tips forward. I...is that really that different from pulling back instead? I used to play standard Y-axis for FPS's until my friends kept using inverted, so I just learnt that way to save having to keep switching the controls.
Can you not just...y'know, learn?
Not trying to be a ****, but it just seems strange. It's hardly the most pressing concern in Dust right now... |

I only play inverted due to playing a lot of flight sims. I want it to work inverted. When I push forward on my left stick the Dropship pulls back, and when I pull back it dips forward. It is as if I am pushing the nose up and down instead of pushing a stick forward and back.
How are you getting it to work properly? You imply it seems to work right for you... Are your infantry controls inverted? |

It seems there is only one invert option, and I assumed it was the infantry option. I guess it does both.
I guess my request is to have an option for both. I want an inverted look for the infantry, but I want regular flight control, which basically is the same as inverted look anyway, for flight control.
With only one option there is no way to have both work collectedly for me. |

Yeah you can invert it. I've played with corpmates that understand the normal controls but they never clicked for me. You have to think instead not about where you want the ship to go but where you want the engines to face.
