If a heavy has 10 armor left and you rep him to 800hp you should get all the points for doing that
When players spawn on uplinks you get 25 for every spawn yet with rep tools and nanos when you rep past a certain amount you get nothing and same with nanohives even tho they are still giving ammo or hp to a player
Why dont we get points for repping installations like supply depots or even vehicles?
If its to stop warbarge spam then either up the amount of WP needed which is prob easier or make it time based and it is given to the squad with the largest amount of WP at the time of the strike

People abused it too much a long time ago by sitting in the red zone, hurting themselves, and repping each other for points.
Closed beta anyone?

One day we follow a heavy around, the heavy was using a krins AR.we had 4 logis, 2 with core fucas and 2 with the ones that connect to 2 players at once.
he went 86/6, we got 9 orbitals, and a squad total WP of 24.9k.
It is easy system to abuse and farm WP
I stick my weiner in two buns and and then give it the gas

the WP is only capped against a single enemy, if a different enemy chips away at the guy you're repping you'll get WP like normal.
agree the cap is stupid though, we have a loud community that will speak out & take pics of boosters so boosting should be dealt with on a case by case basis, not by f*cking over everyone.
after all if boosters wanna boost they'll find a way.

True it is easy to obtain WP but if your worried about strikes rasie the cap for strikes or limit the strikes with a timebased limit

It was never broken, but it was very easily abused. Which is why we have a limit over time for these specific items. The same was done to resupplying ammo at supply depots to prevent endless grenade spam. |

This limit is probably the only reason I haven't specced into repair tools. Even with my proto amarr logi, I see no point as half the time, I don't get points for legitimately healing someone who's taken a lot of enemy fire. Oddly enough, I've never noticed a limit on repper hives or resupplies, but then again, I don't run the proto variant yet, so meh. Hopefully CCP or the community finds a way to fix this, because as is, it seems to hurt the logi roll a bit.
Sometimes I miss never seeing tanks in a battle... then I remember the mystical flying soma, and I can't help but smile.

I dont know about you guys but I rep to keep my mates alive. The points are a nice bonus. I wont lie though I would like it even more if we got WP for all repping done.
Hey at least they fixed it so the best reps give as much points as the worst slow reps. At one point in the game if you were after WP it made sense to only run the basic rep. That is fixed at least. |
