Back in chromosome I was with a friend playing the gallente city map with the mushroom above bravo. A single forge gunner was up there raining all kinds of hell on us, so we decided to call a dropship from the red line and take him out. We came in high and just as I pitched down to make my dive for the roof he 1 shotted my viper, we both bailed and by some crazy grace of dust gods, we both ended up on top of the burning viper. The viper was still on course to roof so we rode it down while shooting at the forge gunner. Just before it hit the roof we both jumped off and landed on the roof to kill finish the job. I ended up landing to close the explosion and took heavy damage, forge gunner killed me but, my friend got him just after. (he vowed that day to get a capture card and ended up getting one).
Manus peak chromosome - We were on the bravo side of the map. We took bravo and pushed to alpha. As we got to the rocks to alpha the enemy called in a viper. My squad at the time had 2 assaults, 1 logi and 1 hmg. We gutted the 2 guys at alpha just as the viper was dropped off and the pilot was about to jumped in, 3 flux grenades were tossed and took out the shields. Once the shields were out we focus fired on the viper just as he was starting to climb away.. he went up 20 meters before his armor was gone and crashed right back down killing the pilot.
Manus peak chromosome - Ambush. Me and a friend got a 2 man OB near the end of the match. The enemy was at skirmish alpha on that hill while we were on the rocks between skirmish charlie and alpha. He dropped the OB right on skirmish alpha to take the enemy out. We sat back and counted the kills knowing that it was fatal blow that would end the match. What we hadn't expected was that the OB strike would list 16 enemy kills.
Rings map with the tall tower in the middle map chromosome - Gunnlogi blaster tank came into the city. We were by the rings with the tank cutting us off from alpha and bravo by the tower. Squad had 2 assaults, 1 logi, and 1 hmg. We quickly polled the group to see who had the av grenades only find out all we had was 2 flux and 4 milita locus grenades between all of us. To quote a squad member ( F*** it, lets do this!), so we charged the tank as he shooting blueberries by the tower. 2 flux and 3 of the 4 milita locus grenades took his shields out. 1 assault jumped on top of the tank while the other 3 circled it firing our 3 assault rifles and 1 hmg into it. Once our primary weapons went dry we switched to smgs. The gunnlogi driver freaked out so badly that he backed into a wall and kept smashing into it unable to shake us off of him. With some more locus grenades tossed by some helpful blue berries we took the tank out with the kill going to a squad members smg. After the tank was popped we quickly agreed that the tank driver was an idiot and that his tank had to be one of the worest setups on dust.
Manus peak chromosome - Shot and killed a guy (had to be a scout) jumping out of the MCC with a sniper rifle. He was about halfway down to the ground.
Manus peak uprising some time in august or september - Shot and killed a guy jumping from the MCC with a forge gun. He was maybe 1/4 of the way down to the ground (still pretty close to the MCC). |
