I m probably going to have a minscout with knives when we have 1.8 Doing math I ve discovered that I m going to oneshot (using a charged shot) almost every thing with them, except heavies, they are probably going to survive. Consider that I m going to use a CR with them. The question is: you are behind a heavy, you knife him and he survives, what would you do? Knife him again or use your CR? The problem his that when someone got knifed usally jumps/turns and shoot. The problem is that there is the possibility that you miss your second shot with knives. What would you do? |

For a heavy
Charged shot if he survives 1 normal swipe and switch to main and start shooting. Depending if it's a proto max tanked heavy he will survive the 2nd swipe but he will be left at 100-300 HP so it's an easy kill.
When it comes to the second shot you have to predict his mmovement quickly. There are two possibilities he could move forward or backwards. If he moves forward you move with him. If he moves backwards this is bad because you can no longer see him. Your best bet is to move backwards with him so he can't shoot you in the back.

If you chain your charged with your second quick enough he won't have enough time to react in time.
^ Fact. I was dropping heavies trying to hack objectives yesterday with adv knives like it was nothing. Knives still get the headshot bonus, if you have the time to go for the head, always go for the head with your charged shot, followed up by a quick strike. If for some odd reason they are still alive and get out of knife range, 1 or 2 little blaps with your gun will finish them off before they can do any real damage to you.
I am here to ask you one question, and one question only: EXPLOSIONS?
THAT SENTENCE HAD TOO MANY SYLLABLES! APOLOGIZE!

A minscout at proto Level with ishukone deal 2012 dmg with one charged +1 normal, no one is going to survive (unless you fail with one of your knives) So you would use knives again after the charge shot, Thank you |

Considering that heavies can't jump over a 2 foot ledge and are relatively slow, hitting them with a second charged attack isn't a problem.
