I have SCR proficiency at level V so do I technically NEED damage mods? I usually roll with two complex damage mods on the Viziam and can one shot a lot of medium suits and then mop up anything else.
Is this overkill?

Yes, I know it isn't 20%. I can't remember the penalty value but I would estimate the really bonus comes out around 17%.

No, you don't 'need' the damage mods as you know already. You have the damage skills maxed and use Viziam. Some could argue that that in itself is overkill.
I suggest you dump the damage mods and use the slots for militia myofibril stimulant and basic precision enhancer.
It's not so much do I need them, it's more of a just keep them because more gank is always nice or stop one shotting everything and take them off.

Already have 373 aHP on my advanced Amarr suit.
