What is the main goal of a tanker?
I would assume its to destroy other tankers, drop ships, and LAV's.
Now what is the best or most preferred way to accomplish this?
I would assume it would be to sneak up on an enemy tanker and shoot him from behind in his weak spot. This does the most DMG with little to no risk to yourself.
So why the hell are some tankers(usually the ones who bring their proto turret and MODs into PUD MATCHES) callings this a puss*y tactic? I'm sorry if I took the time to look in my map, pinpoint your location, flank around you, and than engage.
My bad for thinking this was a strategic game and not a bottom masher. Next time I'll just change in front of you so that you can clearly see me coming. Rocking only an enhanced turret and MODs because I'm to stupid to bring proto to the PUB MATCH where the payout wouldn't even cover the cost of the turret let alone the whole tank.
If you can't afford it don't use it and if your gonna rage do so on the forums not my inbox.

My favourite tactic is to point at the other guy and pew pew him till he dies.
I like to give it up the butt, also. It lets me finish faster.
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.
Just let me get a couple mil more before nerf, CCP!

seriously i would worry less about the perma hardened scrubs who need 2-3x hardeners to cut and worry about the ones only running 1 hardener..when you run 2 hardeners you lose recovery on maddies..so when your hardener goes out you are very week...when my 1 hardener goes out you now have to contend with 300hps on 4k armor
almost like a heavy witha rr with 4 k hp and 2 proto reppers on it
