However, if such a person is willing to invest such an amount of skill points into a mediocre frame, then he or she could better invest those points by skilling into something that is not Minmatar.

I do way better with my LogisticsnM/1 series than I do with my Logistics Gk.0. Why? Because I know how to shield tank, and I know how to use speed to my advantage. If you expect to use a Minmatar suit and just stand there and tank every shot it will not work. You don't take shots you dodge them... For the Federation!

I pretty much use my 'sver' Minmatar logistics dropsuit 70% of the time and Im either on first place of the scoreboard or on the top 5 and have a K/D of 1.95 ( not that I really care) So yeah, even with the 'sver' suit, which is the equivalent of a basic Minmatar logistics suit you can do more than good if you know how to use it. The other 29% of the time I use the advanced min logi suit, and if im feeling frisky. I'll use the proto min logi that remaining 1% of the time
