I don't need your approval, I know multiple internet "wizards" that have said it's 100% possible to lag switch on dedicated servers, however, yes it is harder than on player hosted servers. lol and no, I don't call everyone that beats me a lag switcher.

As a side note: Equipment Spam is still causing lag for me when I play. It got so bad today that the game quit out entirely. This is a very old issue. Months ago we lost a district to Mottainai JAPAN because they got the Oceania server and we lagged to death. As far as pub matches, lately there have been some extremely laggy matches with all 32 players freezing, running in one direction, not taking damage, etc. It actually happened twice. The first time, everyone was returned to their merc quarters in under 60 seconds. The second time, the match continued like this until it was won/lost. Please sign my 1.8 respec petition

Now onto the topic at hand i've been seeing alot of lag too now im not gonna up and say lag switchers just that its way more lag then their should be

Yeah, this is more along the lines of what I was thinking, I just didn't know exactly how to put it. I have heard of multiple ways to cause the other team lag, connection lag and framerate lag, however I have no way to confirm these methods. Director of G0DS AM0NG MEN. The main issue that has been mentioned previously is the ability to choose your server. That has to go. Immediately. As in 1.8. No more of this crap where people from Asia join in the American servers to boost their KDR. One of the corps that tops the list weekly is a japanese corp that i see Proto tanking ambush maps to the point where it is unlplayable.

The PS3 uses a specific ethernet adapter that can detect voltage variations associated with lag switching and will sign you out of PSN and therefore the game. Input/Output error detection variables and CRC error limits pretty muchly can it anymore. Dont believe me, give it a shot. Ive had hit happen on a faulty ethernet cable. The problems lie solely on server side while it attempts to load balance connections in an attempt to ensure smooth gameplay. Other players leaving their region intentionally to play on far away servers dilute the math involved and create "laggy" gameplay. There is A LOT more to all this and you dont pay me enough to explain it all, but do a little research. Lag Switching on PS3 and PS4 is practically impossible for even the above average user. The ways to create lag require much more networking/server knowledge to accomplish than the majority of the gaming population have. Send me all your Isk and Ill give you the wireshark dumps to prove it :)
