Anyone who has played battlefield bad company 2 onslaught mode will know exactly what I'm thinking with this, CCP should add a game mode where players fight largely outnumbered against strickly against computer generated enemies in starter fit or basic gear whether we get isk or not but if we don't get isk then we should be allowed to use any and all gear regardless of skills in thise game mode and it shouldn't cost us any isk, but if it gives us isk then all standard rules apply, it wouldbe a good way to relieve syress and keep people playing dust even after they'vereached the weekly SP cap

Yeah but I think they were going to go in an odd direction with it, what I'm suggesting is after a few poto stomp fests in pub going into a dom with 15 other people on a 16 v. 48 and just killing until you're ok to do pub again instead of going to find another game to play instead of dust

I even have the back story for it, since pub is all mercs just make us be troops for the four corporations and I know it sounds similar to FW but it works well enough

SOMBRA del MUERTE wrote:I would love if it were up to 32 v Environment and you could fight drones/pirates/faction infantry/concord (found this awesome concept art DEEP in a google image search http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v243/leowen/CONCORD_lrg.jpg ) The enemies and friendly fire could be based on the security status of the star system ( like Eve ) giving mercs a reason to tour New Eden looking for treasure, which could be hack point salvage, missions (seek and destroy, extraction, siege, etc.), Planetary Interaction (PI) asset defense ( / horde survival ). The possibilities are huge ( even with the current engine mechanics ). The question of logistics for mercs to move around New Eden is still not addressed. Maybe they have more crude and rugged jump clones that can be used more frequently than capsuleer jump clones ( due to the fact that mercs only have to know how to shoot face and reload and don't fly starships which need fancier, smarter jump clones ). This would explain how they can be hunting a bounty in nullsec one moment, and then fight in FW the next. Hey we aren't there yet but hopefully we'll get there someday

( although the trailer to dust would make you believe other wise) I entirely agree even though ny idea was more modest i only thought it should be a start, no bossy missions, just a little relaxationon dust with a few teammates and we all know how relaxingdust is right now with tank spammers and proto stompers, lol

( although the trailer to dust would make you believe other wise) That's the sort of 'potential' this game has. Lets be honest though, I doubt we will ever see that. Thats the vision CCP sold to us. The EVE universe. So many planets, so many locations both ground and in #SPACE#. Hell we are playing in the EVE universe yet we dont even have one single level set in space or even set on a station in space. How bizarre is that? Hmmmmm, CCP should see about making it possible to use dust troops as boarding parties like to take over titans, space stations and such

No, the idea is play the same modes or similar to the ones that already exist except you're significantly outnumbered by inferiorly equipped AIs, youtube bad company 2 onslaught mode it you want to see where i was going with this
