Actually, games with more players tend to have less lag. This is because there are more people that will have a compatible connection to yours. In Dust, the small player base means that you are sometimes forced to play across three continents and that tends to give a real bad lag session.

I've been in squads with bad latencies. However the guys I was with this morning from my corp are east coast. My friend that I was running the squad with is from the same state I am even. It probably didn't help though that a lot of the matches I played in were against Dust Brasil and other South America corps.

That being said, I can understand the lag in the matches, but still don't quite get the locking up in the loading screens before even entering the match.

If you hear the words "WORTH IT!" look about, something hilarious just happened.

I just find it funny that a lot of the players of those corps have outright terrible gun-game(no dancing, no dodging, poor tactical awareness) but succeed just because them existing lags out everyone else like they're trying to download all the **** ever made. It just gets to be silly sometimes, like a guy taking no damage by walking straight at you and the server not agreeing with your bullets hitting him.
