So I gave up my hope of a water world battlefield for dust any time soon...

This I would love. Dynamic/ randomised weather effects would really do wonders for immersion and atmosphere in game.

I doubt that would happen. Storm worlds have shielded platforms people live and work on....but could you imagine the beautiful oppressive pall, rain pouring, as gleaming mercenaries engage in bitter street to street warfare, as lightning strikes the shields above.

Rain would be the most preferable weather to fight in, like somebody else said, kamino was amazing. Rain always is a great environment to enjoy while fighting.
However, whats more realistic, is that we'd have sandstorms. Thick sandstorms could mean a REALLY different type of a battle for any map, making EWAR/Speed/CQC more dominant in them. which would be a nice change of pace from standard pubs. Uncharted 2 sandstorms are a nice example.

particle effects brought this game to it's knees the frame rate drop on particle effect maps was so crippling it was removed and not added back(to my knowledge) until the volcano mood in 1.7.

And if it can run on my garbage laptop I'm sure it'll run on your computer. Also what levels do you have in Borderlands 2? I have a level 50 Siren (with a vault hunter thing so I can go to level 61) but can only use that character with another friend who's been playing the whole thing with me. I also have a level 30 something (or maybe 40) Commando. All DLC too.

Aero and I still go on about that game all the time. I still have SWBFII installed on my PC Dice's new SWBF is probably what's going to push me to get a PS4, that is if Dust doesn't make the move first. Any decent player base? If so I reckon I could run it decently well since it is about 3-4 years old now isn't it. I also got Borderlands II again. Definitely still a player base. I have characters from lvl 18 up to my 39 Mechromancer and Soldier.

"UE3" handles it good its then the devs job to optamize and have good tracking which they did really good at with ash

(It still has never snowed on a snowy map... White "ash" effect wasn't OP enough?)
