Otherwise, you DO have something to hide, obviously.... you know, the timers? Otherwise why lock a district in the first place if everyone knows when it comes online to hit it?

Everyone else has been hiding behind their locked districts to generate ISK and attack with no fear. Now people have been locking up as a petition against PC. PC is a broken mechanic and game feature in this game. Participating in it, winning and losing in it, is just for players to stroke their ego. It's back and forth and serves no real purpose at the moment in its current state, which gets old quick. Once things like resources and building of structures like sockets or MCCs, 48 man battles, and overall larger-scale warfare comes (likely in PC 2.0) will it actually be enjoyable and worth it. Besides, I make more ISK off of chars like this one than most do daily. CCP ideals when it comes to community management is "Let the community solve it's own problems."
Do you see a problem with how people are treating this vs what reality is? District Locking has been getting 'fixed' since the FEC wars. Anyone claiming to lock up for the betterment of the game either doesn't realize who CCP is - or don't care as it benefits them either way. |

I understand you want a customer driven market, but at what cost do you suffer lower player-bases to incompetent script from DEVs? Yea, they seem to forget EvE when it first started didn't have a multi-billion market to be a part of. 10 years of gaming is a long time, to still use the old tricks that barely worked to begin with on a new game a decade later...?
If CCP wants us to fix our own problems then we need the tools to do so. As a community - we'd all be a lot happier and nicer to each other if we all weren't frustrated with this game and poor mechanics and everyone taking advantage of CCP's poor game design choices. A lot of AE's bad publicity - as an example - could of been directly prevented by CCP if they would just do as they said they would.
If CCP fixed bugs and glitches with hot-fixes like promised years ago - melee glitching wouldn't of been anything to talk of. PFC itself was formed because CCP took out Corp Battles, if they hadn't - no PFC. And if CCP would just ******* take away clone pack refunds then district locking wouldn't be as viable.
All our problems community wise really can be lead down to CCP as the source. |

We agree to unlock our districts as soon as everyone else does... Why would we unlock our districts and make ourselves vulnerable to people who cannot be retaliated against? I really don't understand why this concept is hard for people to understand. If we unlocked like we want to, we can be continuously attacked. When we lose, the corp that gained the district will continue to lock it and make ISK. We have no (or a very very difficult way that is only possible due to the locking corp messing up their logistics) way to attack and get our district back. So again, why should we be "pressured" to unlock our districts when others will not play by the same rules? Why should we be the ones who lose everything? Hey - I was just commenting. Locked or not all AE districts are available to me, as well as every other corp in this game. Lock up till your blue in the face - I've got the magic keys.
It's just - why are you guys continuing to say half truths and BS on forums then pump your chest when called out? I like how Kujo handles things in his replies - it's chill and on topic with a hint of troll. But it's never really all that logical. "We have nothing to hide, we're policing PFC, we're never locking, we're locking to fix the game!" Has anything AE ever said not been complete BS? I'd really like to know.
I feel for you Titus - handling a corps PR is a tough job, especially a corp like AE where mails need to be sent to members to remind them to stop using the forums :D |
