That's the first person I shoot if I happen upon a crowd of reds While that is a good thing to do, I have a question.
When you see that reddot pop out from around a corner and take a couple of potshots at you before ducking back around the corner, do you give chase?

how hard can it be to move backwards and shoot at the same time? maybe stop rushing right in front of their face or are you scrubs that are too dense to adapt to the situation? lol, if you're only tossing them 1.5m, you're doing it wrong.

But the problem of proto or not. We have a weapon that grant a sure kill AFTER YOU'RE DEAD. I don't mind being killed by a remote trap, You deserve that kill. Like a shotgun kill or a Forge kill. What i can't take is people tossing a remote when they understand that they lose the engage and give them a sure kill AFTER death. When you know you're going to respawn seconds later and you're confident that your dying will cost them more than it will you-- it is a totally valid tactic despite whether you think this is cheap or "you can't take it".

Drive up to a squad, wait for them to get close, get out. hit the detonator. Watch the kills come in. Take my jeep back and drive away.
Needless to say it was -extremely- hilarious.
For every ingenious trap, there's always at least one idiot that will ruin it. The best traps often rely on the stupidity of your opponent.
Last night, I was running around nearly using REs to the exclusion of all other weapons (as a direct result of reading this thread).
I got this one douchebag in my squad that kept running his mouth about how he was the greatest heavy ever and how he knew AV better than anyone else. He was a "tank-killer" par excellence, at least that is what he kept saying, who wasn't using "any fake money son, that's a real money forge son, AUR forge son".
He got under my skin something fierce, mainly because he kept ruining my traps. I didn't mind him running his mouth so much as the ruining my traps. He would chase the enemies away (dying in the process and not killing any either) when I had corners trapped and he killed the red LAV I trapped ("I ain't going to have points in from of me and not take it son").
At the end of the match I would've expected him to have more than 370 WP at 13th on our teams aftermatch stats. Even with him ruining as many of my traps as he did, I still managed to be first.

I don't mind if they mange to pull the trigger BEFORE they're down, they deserve that kill. My only complain is that people CAN PULL the trigger AFTER THEIR DEATH, thats the problem. But that is half the fun.
I mean, seriously, how hard is it to shoot their body as you're backing up?

If we were able to move our hands while downed, then I would want the ability to self-inject myself with needles. You can't , you have to respawn, a lot of the time I suicide into a packed room with 3, if I die I spawn on the fastest link an hit the button, if the team can't flux in ten sec that's their problem You most certainly can, happens a lot. Again, I donGÇÖt know which button to press, but it is possible. You can detonate on the Death Screen, but not the choose spawn screen. Oh right, yes, sorry my bad but I still don't think you should be able to detonate them after you're down. Sleepy

I laugh at the community's ingenuity too, but similar to murder taxis...is this the type of gamplay we want new players and especially gaming media to see? Its funny/amusing but does it paint the game in a positive light? if we are discussing the post death glitch then no, fix it, if you are talking about RE's killing you in any other form or use of them. then yes it's fine as is. So, I have a question.
Where is it confirmed to be a glitch? Source?
AFAIK, this is working as intended, if I am not mistaken this is how it has always been. I know it has been this way as long as I have been using REs and I've been using them for the majority of "release".

It's NOT A GLITCH! You have to actually kill the guy, head shot or grenade or shoot while he's down, or pay attention or carry flux nades, been this way always. This is what I was thinking, I mean, if it was a glitch, you'd think they'd have fixed it sometime in the past year.

Sure your trigger figure might be destroyed but the mind is active so with a thought click boom goes the remotes.
Given the lore the glitch is not that you can detonate REs whilst bleeding out, the glitch is you can't detonate them from the spawn/warp in screen. Yes, please fix this glitch CCP.

This is what I was thinking, I mean, if it was a glitch, you'd think they'd have fixed it sometime in the past year. Really. How long have you played this game for again? Railguns and forge guns have been plagued with bugs since forever. The same bugs. Since always. I would make a strong argument that more of the community uses those weapons than the RE (especially now with HAVs in their current state and the railgun being a bit OP) Oh, not long, just since early 2012.
As far as Rails and Forges are concerned, while I may use them occasionally, I am more of a tourist than anything where they are both concerned.
