Yea I tried playing Ambush this morning...worst idea ever. I spent the whole match chasing tanks away in one. Tried another, it was the same thing. "Oh did we just lose 5 clones? I really don't know why folks put down uplinks in Ambush. Just like you stated, folks spawn and just sit at the point, drawing the attention of reds that just camp the spot. Even with the supposed smart deploy, you still spawn at the uplink to be greeted by the greeting party. I think using uplinks in ambush is a very bad strategic idea. This is the reality tho: will i make more sp getting them high and prolonging the battle? giving smart mercs a chance to regroup or respawn prepared? or will i give my enemies more sp by staying on the ground during a 6 tank match, where i'll be dammed if i use any gear higher than militia
