Cadari - Modern, durable and functional, they match the corperate values of the state.
Amarr- Royalty, grand and vain,. By thier own culture, they believe they are better than all others and dress to show it.
Matari - Rough, tuff and dirty. They are a resourcfull race that can find a use for anything off the junk pile, and should be feared for it and there brutality.
So wtf happened to the Gallente? They look like somthing you would find under a rock in a slimed filled pond and crush just because of how vile they are.
My bad, that description does describe the Gallente and the Federation,

My bad, that description does describe the Gallente and the Federation, +1 For sheer audacity! The Gallente like their curves and we aren't afraid to show it. I imagine their design reflects more of their combat philosophy too, with organic forms to represent their organic approach to murdering Caldari scum. |

In all seriousness though, the gallente suits need a rework, the other races have more of a theme to them, the Amarr scout is a slight odd ball in the amarr line up (not too bad though), but none of the gallente look like they don't go together at all

My bad, that description does describe the Gallente and the Federation,
The Amarr don't necessarily believe they are better, than people, for the sake of being superior. They are God's chosen children, it was they who were chosen to lead humanity into a greater age of unity and peace.
The Gallente are organic and fleshy, their drop suits directly attach into the muscles. They have relatively sleek, geometric, skin tight designs. Reminds you of how human they are under those suits.

Gallente suits are the only suits without backpacks. Only logistics and maybe heavies should have the backpack. The minmatar backpacks are a bit too big. Medium frame assaults should have no backpacks IMHO.

We don't need backpacks. We wear self repairing organic based armor. So we don't have much use to wear a central processing unit (CPU) on our backs. We do carry one it's just small and integrated into the suit well.

Gallente don't have drones, we also don't have a form of tackling
Caldari have virtually no form of ECM
Minmitar don't have anything to help their aim (unless Aim assist becomes a feature exclusive to some suits) there's also nothing that slows you down.
Amarr don't have anything that screws your aim or drains your stamina....or drones. |

Amarrian design favors form, but makes concessions. Note the presence of "backpacks" on their suits while the Gallentean suits don't and the sometimes mottled or asymmetrical design of their ships compared to the smooth and symmetrical Gallente vessels. The Amarr have the best technology of all the races and know its limits... The Gallente do not. |

To the Amarr form is function, every weapon, every suit is a portable shrine to their God. As for the Gallente I will look into the lore more, but I believe the Gallente made concessions for functionality. Given they are at war with a technologically superior people they cannot afford the frivolity typically associated with the Amarr.
Also I believe the Caldari currently are consider to have the greatest level to technology as the Amarr are slow to adapt to new Military tech....but they do however always set the bar for innovation.
