'We had the opportunity to sit down with TEST recently and delve more into what Dust needs, is doing well and what EVE aspects they would like to see. Its not often we get to sit down with one of the most influential and respected alliances in New Eden. Here's what took place'

Hah, I wasn't really satisfied with my answer to the first question. I was in a hurry when we were looking at the questions and I hadn't actually seen the Hilmar talk yet so I was thinking of emotional connection in a slightly more generic sense. After watching that DICE talk it was more about the individual experience, meaning that a combination of industry and PvE is probably the only way to add more starbucks.
Overcoming the quick spawn to death cycle, which stifles any emotional connection you might have to your gear, will be a challenge. Possibly through new game modes where you bring out more blinged stuff because you're less likely to eat a bullet (ie: PvE). The other thing is how do we implement industry in Dust, and integrated it with Eve. The Eve industry integration will probably have to happen to take care of our material needs if there aren't enough mercs who want to sit in their quarters pressing buttons to make stuff. |

It just feels like it should've been phrased in past tense.
I'd like to be your CPM1 candidate

I still have a huge soft spot for test. I mean it was fun as hell grinding fountain the second time, but the first time, with you guys, making fun of Makalu and -A- being **** was so much better. Also there's a camaraderie that can only come from being on the same comms as DBRB and DurrHurrDurr. |

Putting ewar on Makalu was pretty fun. I spent about an hour in one battle in a brobird throwing ecm at him.
Context: https://soundcloud.com/sindel-pellion/makalu-cries The song is by PL's Sindel Pellion, but the Makalu clips are mostly from fleets were TEST was involved. |

The camwhore? Booda (might have been someone else) got hammered and hired her for the video you're thinking of in response to the one someone in Nulli paid for. I'll see if I can dig them up for you.
And I never thought I'd see a bitter ex in dustbunny form. GF, Zatara. |

I spend my time on IRC, with the people, and not within the ivory tower of skype. Also we use skype at work and running two of them annoys me.

Well how am I supposed to ask if you want sprinkles on your blue donut?
Seriously between IRC, Jabber, Yahoo, Skype, and forums I play almost all of my Dust at work. |

Just my opinion on question 12: How do you resolve protostomping and the gap between veteran and new players?
Give "protostompers" better things to do than playing in pubs. In EVE, you won't find TEST supercap fleets camping hisec-losec gates, killing helpless noobs. And it's not because they can't do it. It's because they have better things to do. If "protostompers" would have real, concrete incentive to engage in some "high end" fights (bigger risks - better rewards), they wouldn't stomp noobs in pubs.

Protostomping does seem to be the perfect storm of, "everyone is thrown into the same windowless, featureless lobby bored and with no meaningful NPE."

^^^^ Dang it, Samahiel!
I like forget that I have IRC on (like right now). At least my Skype pings me with an annoying sound. |
