build a ps4 compatible client so those of who want to upgrade can. allow us to build items from BPOs and release BPOs for all items that can be bought for AUR with a pricing range for suits around
STD 30,000AUR ADV 40,000AUR PR 50,000AUR
if each person can have 5 manufacturing jobs then its a secondary income for some and the others get cheap suits. also allows those of us with multiple copies of Dragonflys ect to make use of them as well

Introductions and cool stuff to come soon when I can get him to fire it over to me! :) The best Director you can have is the Dust community. God knows how much we would pay for simple stuff like respecs, custom dropsuit skins, racial changes etc...
fully custom dropsuit skins wont be introduced for the same reason as why they havent been introduced in eve. each time a suit spawns the details are looked up in database and generated. if you had 32 different skinns all running around the game would have to pick each persons unique image and model to display = more lag. just as in eve every ship that undocks it owuld have to access the database and genberate it. again more lag.
i would liek to see some of the old aurum suits from closed beta though. the pure white assault, black/gold assault and the red/gold logi i think it was were really awesome.
also at eve vegas it was mentioned ccp are looking into a respec for aurum model but whop knows how long till that'd be brought in.
they just need to concentrate on doing something with BPOs. since the removal of merc pack i barely knwo any of my corp mates who have bought AUR recently. i'd be very very interested to see the numbers of how many merc packs were bought compared ot the s***ty starter packs they have now.

yup seeign as the char system pretty much works the same way i don't see why it wouldn't be a possibility in the near future. but seeing as the game is free just make up a diff psn accoutn and start a char on there. its what i did. i have 2 chars per race just building up passive SP between patches so i can test new features out before spending sp on here. also you can only have 16 accounts per playstation (that you can log into) but thats more than enough to just get a char each race to try things out with

ahh the old there are 80million ps3s out there. truth of it is there are only 4000 of them ps3s at a time activly playing dust. i doubt it'd take too long to build a client for ps4 psn store to simply conenct to tranquility and just let ps4 players play it as it is. kinda how eve allows mac, pc's and linux pcs of all specs to connect to it. the ps4 would simply play dust in its current state. it just needs a piece of software ot connect it to tranq

Aran Abbas wrote:Since the removal of BPO's I haven't spent a single penny on Dust. I have around 22 million sp, so boosters aren't really needed. The AUR bpc packs? To my knowledge, you can't use most of the stuff in there off the bat, so there's little point in putting down for them. Even if I could use them, is it worth the money for a few suits and weapons that will be gone after a few games? Is the game good enough to justify that? 5 bux buys me about ten Steam games in one of those Humble Bundle packs, so why pay 5 bux for something I'll have for a few days at most?
your not the only one. majority of my corp would buy a merc pack per month if they were still there. one has probs spent around $300 buying elite pack, vet pack and i believ e4 of each of the merc packs over the past coupel years. since bpo removal we've probs spent about $10 to quickly top up aur to buy a booster and thats it. ccp need to start listenign to the playerbase about what they want. and what we want are more unique items and bpos. as i said in a previous post if you could buy an adv bpo for 30-40k aur folk'd buy it. just make a way for us to have to build them to make them consumables but an ultra cheap alternative to using the isk based npc versions and when market opens up it'd be cool to see bpc covenant, dragonfly, raven, valor ect suits to purchase
