That doesn't need explaining but I'd like to touch on Something.
In every mmo I have played since 1996, bashing nubs is unacceptable and theres no excuse for it, in fact hunting these deprived gimps was always fun in a maxed char.
Well in dust theres this attitude of 'I earned it htfu'
I agreed with this mentality until fairly recently, its not actually ok, its just a stupid excuse to justify farming new players.
I have to admit that in swamp we are partial to farming newbs sometimes and in fact, I simply announce "right, its newb farming time" and then we don our proto and roflstomp unless we come up against another decent squad.
It really is that simple, people know they are simply bashing and farming new players, they know its pure easy mode and know its bad. Why else would they do it? That's why we at swamp do it sometimes.
The biggest joke is that these biachs claim its because they are competitive Hahaha Hahaha.
But anyway ccp, please lengthen the academy time A LOT, maybe until 1 million sp and with alternating game mods. After a recent discussion with a CPM it has been realised that a lot of new players quit because they think the academy is the game period, and the ones who graduate get farmed by the 'competitive' players.
I'd like to put into perspective that dust has shown the most spineless, least competitive, stat padding trash player base iv seen ever, so I laugh very hard when the word competitive is used anywhere in dust, this doesn't mean I hate persons but as a player, they are pathetic.
Also, removing k/d would help a lot, I'd say a good 60% or more of the player base are here to stat pad. For the record my tanker alt has a 16.27 k/d and rising purely just by tanking and specialising in blowing up enemy tanks.
This char has a 3.79 k/d that fluctuates between that and 3.81.
My other alt has a 3.49 k/d that also fluctuates.
So as you can see, I'd lose my precious k/ds as well but it'll sort the men from the boys ultimately. With no k/d ratio people would simply worry about isk loss, as immortal mercs should rather than worrying about a F ing stat in a game.

I agree completely that there should be more academy time because I did much better the first 2 days since the players were not pro and with the same equipment....mainly militia.
I don't agree with K/M because anyone can get one, they are incredibly cheap and is a good solution for noobs. I will try using it but I dont know if it would be better the pad since it has the assist aim....What do you say?
Also I would like to ask if it's me or it's really difficult to kill long time players...because I usually have to hit 7 or 9 times a player to kill him but I die with only 3 hits usually.....
If anyone can help me with builds I will really appreciate it. I have been testing and I really like the rail rifle, at least more than the assault.

I didn't mention kB & mouse but use whatever is best for you. If you are not used to kB & mouse then it'll take some time getting used to, I only mentioned k/d as in kill to death ratio.

And finally I think an easy solution would be for the AI to much the kill/death ratio when sending you to the battle. I think that it would be a good parameter to compare the level of the player's expertise.

Alternatively, if you'd like more one on one type training and your not ready to join a corp yet then I'd suggest dust university. I'd recommend reading swamps corp recruitment thread because we attract a certain type of player though and it might be exactly what you are looking for.
