I don't personally, have proto scout already, just asking out of curiosities.
Perhaps something like more PG/CPU would make them more used?

If we don't get a dropsuit respec come 1.8, I will be, may go 50/50 on my unallocated to getting the Assault suit and Logi suit (I love MD, ACR, and repair tools, so sue me if Minny assault and Logi end up being FotM, those are the things I use).
As I have like 100k LP for the Minmatar, I'll probably use them either way.
I don't see too many LP suits, minus the Logi Gk.0 from a good chunk of bandwagoners/the occasional guy trying to save a buck.
xSivartx is my Heavy. There are many like him, but he is my own...
So, other Logi's back off, those are my Warpoints!

I use proto minnie scouts from there as I don't have the actual suits available.

Don't have Minmatar suits, but I did purchase the Gallente proto assault suits to phase out my medium basic protos. Huge money saver and I still have over 14,000 LP sitting around unused. Plan on replacing all of my fits with Loyalty equivalents, though I doubt I'll purchase anything over advanced (current proto suits are for sniping/swarms.)

Absolutely, cheaper, for the one fully decked out proto suit bought with isk, I can make three from LP. I do it with Caldari also.

nah i never used them yet but i cant stand to use proto anyway but i do like the free RE's cheap and effective.

Ahhaha. I found out I have (apparently bought some to try out) Repuplick Mk.0 assaults lying around.
So the natural thing to do is to slap a Balac's on it with 5 complex shield extenders and stuff and have few ambushes.
Never ever have I had that bad games with a proto suit. They are CRAP. Yeah, I blame the suit!

I'm currently saving for specialist CR's.
Practically impossible to make a fitting without them.(unless of course you're the greedy tryhard who uses an amarr logi with a boundless)

I wanted to try out the scout and the cheapest way without any points in the scout tree was getting the Basic Federation and Republic scout suits.
Really loving the scout, so in the meantime im only running Basic Federation and Republic scout suits till I can spec into a Cal scout.

I use them instead of spending aurum on suits to test things.
I need to start using the Faction equipment though...I completely forgot about it.
