Don't remember much because i could not stand the game back then, i do remember having 1v1 swarm launcher fights and terribad lag. Loved the map and the game mode those if there is one think i wish we had it would be that game mode.
ahhh, skirmish 1.0 and parking a LAV up on the cliffs overlooking the gallente socket sniping with the rail on the back

I used to plant RE piles on the ground and wait for a dropship to try and squish my MLT suit |

I also remember smacking the MCC with a Large Blaster Installation. I miss the old Installation style period. Most of all, I miss the insane elevation differences in the Skirmish 1.0 map, truly canyons, hills and valleys. Yeah, I will grant that the new sockets are nice and all, but comparatively the maps suck **** through a straw. I remember camping A from the cliff above and using the open freight container for cover.
ya, those old large installations were like little bunkers, it was awsome. and i would sit on the cliff overlooking the open container to turn it into a meat grinder with my AR |

I used to miss the Heavy Type-II suit the most, but after a year of it being out of the game, I'm finally getting it back in 1.8! Let's hurry up on that Minmatar gorilla suit, hey CCP?

I do not recommend the game to anyone anymore. hehe when ppl ask me how dust is I usually say "I love it but its not everyones cup of tea." I love seeing players that I remember from the beginning, which is becoming more and more rare, but atleast theres a lot of variety and things are a little less predictable, I used to know every single half decent player I could run into (back when servers were region locked) and what to expect from them.
i have the same feeling about both eve and DUST, "it's the best nightmare you'll ever have" |

i remember when the forums were a place of "mostly" constructive criticism. and people played, not because of what the game was at the time, but to help create what it could become. i know sometimes its hard to tell that the devs pay attention to us, but looking back over the last 2 years. ive seen sooooo many of our ideas implemented into this game. not all of them are still here, but its really interesting to look back on at least. |

ya, i had gotten so tired of all the resets back in closed beta that when the game finally launched, they only thing i hadn't done was your basic bread-and-butter assault class. damn i miss early beta tanking. lolaunchers ftw |
