Mobile CRU's either don't show up on the map as available assets at all, or they don't -start- showing up until late in the game.
Have a MLT CRU fit on a Myron and a Grimsnes, consistent failure to show up.

Known issue. The player has to be fully bleed out before mCRUs show up as spawn point. Whether CCP intends to fix it any time soon is unknown.

Do you mean you canGÇÖt see mCRU spawn point icon on the overview map while you were waiting to spawn later in the game? If there is no driver in the vehicle, mercs canGÇÖt see the icon and spawn on mCRU.

I have had this same problem with my mobile CRU while my dropship. My squad in the beginning of the match tell me that they don't see the spawn Icon until at least 1 or 2 minutes into the match. Its occurs typically in the beginning of the battles and once you get past that point it seems to no longer persist. |

I'm aware the mCRU doesn't work when nobody's in the vehicle. I keep my dropship in the air and circle the map to keep myself visible and away from the mass of drop uplinks on the ground. My squad however, is unable to register my dropship as a valid spawn location. They'll see the dropship icon, but not the flashy "spawn here!" circle.
Happened repeatedly over the last 5 games I ran mobile spawn.

Yeah I dont think the mCRU's have ever worked correctly.I have an alt and skilled this up on his dropship I get some spawns on it from random BB's but then for the rest of the match it doesnt work. I also fail to see the point of raising this skill as there is only two types of mCRU's available Militia and basic in the market so why continue to put sp into this skill.
I think the reason why this doesnt work correctly is CCP doesnt want to address the issue of people dying when they exit the vehicle that has a mCRU on it .
Not to be mean to the OP but this is one of those things that has never worked correctly.It doesnt give Team spawn and never has and they added Transport assist points but Ive watched people jump out of my dropship go and hack and objective jump back in the dropship the hack goes off and I get no Transport points.
MCRU's have always been something that they've always swept under the rug.Im sorry you put sp into it.

This happens while flying around. When someone dies, they have to wait till full bleedout before the icon for spawning on a dropship will appear. This is very reproducible and has been reported dozens of times.

Militia fit dropships. I've got something like.... 60-70kSP in them? I'm not going to put a whole lot of SP into them until I'm both a better pilot, and I don't feel like I'm a paper airplane.

On my dropships (myron) I run a MARY, and it seems to work 50% of the time. On a related note, mCRUs should require an open seat to use. Being killed in FA because a tanks mCRU spawns you under it sucks.
Sees prototompers...
Sees blueberries start to snipe...
Pulls out commando suit with laser rifle and swarm launcher...
