what he said, take it easy when you start. Overdoing drinking can happen at any age and no matter how much you have drank in your life, but practice makes perfect.
Just drink til you get a buzz then stop drinking for awhile. And eat food, you will be fine. To the sober raver...... I have dj'ed for 13 years now. I have many nights stayed sober while playing.... drunk people are annoying... So annoying i drink when i dj ;)
and Spademan your full of crap. Im an experienced drinker and drinking 3 pints of hard liquor would get me WRECKED.
Thats a quart and a half. a liter of hard booze. Almost a 40 oz. First time drinking you wouldnt make it through a pint and remember anything. Sorry i call hard bs on that

Thats not a big spread for that much liquor. I have met and partied with people who drink more then 40 oz but its just hard to believe doing it on your first time drinking.
I can, personally, drink about a quart but im pretty wrecked. Admittedly i dont drink like i used to. There were times i could drink most people under the table, but i was in my 20's and a party animal.
If you did that, well thats fine and all but DONT pass that on as advice for young drinkers. Remember teens are stupid ( i was) and might take that as a challenge/good advice and try it. 3 pints is EASILY enough to die from alcohol poisoning when your tolerance is low.
In fact i know people who have had to go to the hospital after 1 pint drank too fast.
So take care younglings. Take it slow and dont feel like you gotta be a big man in front of your buddies and you will have some epic good times.

Hey, I can't change what you believe, but keep in mind that was spread through the night from about 11pm to 3am. Edit: Also, 3 gets you wrecked? Wow.
maybe you dont know what a pint is.... Thats 375 ml of 40% alcohol per pint . 45 ml per shot. 1125 ml liquor consumed or 25 shots of booze..... THATS ALOT in 4 hours.
Are you a teenager spouting **** or.... a 400 pounder? come on now

Lol ok now we are on tge same page. Yes I thought u meant 3 pints of hard liquor. 3 pints of beer is much more resonable lol. I'm Canadian btw ;) so our beer isn't **** like Americas ( though they have some great microbrews, ESP in Boston).
First time I got ripped me and 4 others stole. 40oz of Bacardi white rum and put it back hoping to catch a buzz. We all remember very littleof what happened cept running from the cops.puking all over some guys deck, and me personally getting caught by my parents and getting **** on in the morning by my folks while being hella hung over. I was 15. Good times.... You think I would have learned my lesson but it took a good 15 more years hahaha
