          raise the over heat on the ASCR so you have that you have to be lvl 3 amarr assault to shoot off a whole clip with out over heating also add overheat to scrambler pistols as well because if the racial bonus is going to be overheat reduction i want to at least feel that its worth the sp outside of the normal SCR and LR |

          The ScP overheat is a bad idea. Its balanced as is. Why change it? I can somewhat agree with the AScR overheat though, but I think it should over heat when you magdump it, but Amarr Assault will allow it to function as it does now.

          The scrambler certainly needs a kick to the rear but unless the assault is regaining it's bonus I don't see going in this direction as a good idea.

If you balance its overheat for a low level user(overheat at 5-6 shots), the penalty would be too high for a high level user because their pistol would overheat halfway through the mag, and if you balance it for a high level user(overheat at 10-11 shots), you add a penalty to leveling up ScPs, which is bad.

Overall, this would be a huge nerf to an already balanced weapon, and I don't see a reason for it.

  (excluding laser rifle) scrambler rifles are hard as hell to use. Arguably the hardest.
  They blow up in your face if you do not closely monitor heat build up.
  Scrambler rifle blow ups can kill you.
  Charge shot is a great idea and hard as hell to use.
  They take up more cpu/pg than other rifles.
  If you cut heat build up by at least 25% you still arguably have the hardest weapon to use.
  My opinion is that ccp made this weapon based solely on skill.

          well like the subject says this is my biased idea so its going to lean heavily towards amarr assault also it is a nerf but it just makes it so those not skilled into AA have to be more mindful of there shots and won't be able to empty a clip as fast as they can press the button same as flaylock pistol users not skilled into MA since they will have smaller clipsizes without the racial bonus. plus the only reason its balanced right now is that its the only pistol of it kind but when 1.8 comes out it might or might not be so much better than the other racial pistols that it might need the overheat to make it balanced again. but this is all ifs of course so we won't know till a few weeks after 1.8 to be sure |

  Its as easy to use as the assault rail, you don't even need to ads up to 30-40 metres and anyone who thinks Managing the heat build up takes skill is a special case.
  Ccp designed that gun with easy mode spamming in mind, clearly.
  I have it at proto with prof 3 on a proto amarr assault as well.

          Everyone and their dog knows SCR clips need to be shortened, heat buildup needs to remain the same, and reload speed needs a slight increase. But yes it can be difficult to use however does an insane amount of alpha damage, has little issue in CQC or range, and IMO should be more unruly hip firing, kinda like the ASCR.
