Holy **** that thing's easy.
My setup was basic medframe, Scr/scrp Remote/compact hive Flux Damage mod/complex shield extender Enhanced armor rep.
I don't see how i can fit 2/3 modules as proto yet my minmatar can't even fit 1.
Hp values were 298/207, equaling to 505 HP. My prototype min assault gets 333/272 at best. 404/155 if i want to fit CPU intensive things.
Get adv medframe, and i can fit proto modules with enhanced weaponry, a K-2 nanohive, and still have 20-ish CPU free, with 6-9 pg free.
Hp values were 298/325 with 3 rep, or 298/438(ish) with compact hive and TT-3 instead of standard scrp. That's 630/740 hp on a fit that costs 1/3rd the amount of my prototpe fit.
I understand that it's amarr vs minmatar we're talking about here, but i'm a full tier higher, and i can't even fit half my fitting with same tier things.

It's not that i'm angry, it's the fact that 1 tier lower can do all but run faster, and with the existence of AA and modded controller/kb-m abusing scr users, mins speed is useless.
My problem is that a standard med frame has similar HP to my prototype suit, which is stacked with HP.
My prototype can't even fit all of its' slots, i need a CPU to even equip a sidearm, and i'm not able to fit anything decent in my 1 remaining low slot.
One thing imm curious about is if i can maintain the HP while putting a kincat on it, something like 2extenders, a basic reactive and a cx kincat.
It'll run faster, have a decent armor buffer, similar(if not equal) shield HP, and can fit full proto weaponry.

Aisha Ctarl wrote:You're surprised that the race designed to be slow and heavily tanked comes out with high eHP values? Just wait till 1.8 when the Amarr gets their true ARMOR PLATE bonus and the values are changed around to show that the Amarr are armor tankers. I'm expecting the Amarr Assault to have something like 140/230 over the current 180/180 - we're going to be armor plated, gold leafed bricks.
Also dual tanking is a sin - throw something else in your high slots; I prefer complex damage mods.
nope. I need that (although marginal) quickly regenerating buffer.
I guess i would be less spiteful towards the easiness of everything else if Minmatar got a higher regen than the caldari. Currently caldari can twin tank better than minmatar, amarr can outright instantly kill a minmatar, even in CQC, the gallente can outrep our damage, and outgank us as well.
Why run a minmatar for regen when a caldari is superior in EVERY way imaginable? Why run a minmatar as gank when a gallente can match your shield regen in armor regen, and have 300-490 hp, not to mention the ability to fit 3 damage mods. Why even try minmatar when amarr can outgank you, outlast you, and outregen?

I'm not one to have an agenda, i don't have the patience.
Maybe i should have skilled caldari and made the comparison there...
I was just a slight bit annoyed at how much easier running an amarr medframe was compared to my assault.
Edit: i'm just trying to give myself reasons to stay minmatar, speed is useless, and caldari has better stats EVERYWHERE except a .4-ish movement speed. And don't tell me that's a good enough reason, as AA completeley negates all but maxing HP, which caldari does better. In top attainable speed Caldari beats it, in shieldregen, caldari beats it, caldari can fit a reactive with literally no peoblems so the 1hp/s can't be argued.

Fixed your spelling, all the red lines were making my eyes twitch. Anyway, back to the real reason I quoted you. Minmatar assault = HARD MODE since every other assault suit beats it hands down. Play it, learn it, love it. Then switch to a decent suit of lower level and destroy with it since you are now used to running with less. This is all of course null and void if in 1.8 they actually manage to balance things. I love running min suits, i really do, they put me to the test.
There are a few benefits though that could be added to make the min assault not a downright stripgrade of a caldari
Regen and a higher sprint speed might make this work.
I'm just really frustrated atm, and might be taking it out on DUST.

Aisha Ctarl wrote:#LynnBeckHatestheAmarr More like i hate the caldari, i just skilled amarr because i wanted to try out an easier suit.
I skilled amarr because i respect them enough to skill them and be seen wearing the suits. I refuse to skill gallente because that's just joining Fotm.
Amarr at least has class, i'll give them that.
This ultimately dials back to when i tried sniping a redline sniper(Ck.0 logi, 677/600 or something) with my Nt-511 triple dmg mod, and i put 4 headshots in and he walks away with 200 armor. That and seeing Cal-assault CK.0's with Toxin SMG's and boundless CR's, while having 200 shield, 400 armor, qnd enough damage mods to instant melt me.
To a lesser extent the amarr logis , who use CR's with remotes. However that's a serious meh, as CK.0's infuriate me.
