Yes the RR is powerful, yes I am a RR user...but I am also a CR, ScR, and sometimes AR user as well. They are fairly well balanced against each other. I think most of the RR complaining comes from those amongst us who put all their eggs in the AR basket because it was by far the most powerful weapon, now they are butthurt that they have 3 mil or so in a weapon that is no longer an I win button. The problem is that this isn't Rifle 514, you can't justify the RR strengths based on the performance of 2 other weapons.

Also, the damage mods did not need a nerf, as doing so now renders many weapons useless or much less effective, MD-SR-FG-Flaylock-PLC-RR-LR-ScR etc. Basically meaning only full auto weapons will be competitive, while the HMG will reign supreme. And everything thats ever capable of killing is automatically deemed "FOTM" so quit whining that the competitive players aren't running at you with plasma cannons. You sound like you go 1/40 every game.
