If you look at the leaderboards, you see a bunch of players that for the most part should be looked up to and striven to be like. The numbers they have acquired in this game speaks volumes.
This is after you weed through the hackers, boosters, and cheaters.
Depending on whoever you talk to, all of those top players have their share of haters. Most of it, undeserved. So does doing well in this game mean anything if you don't have the respect of your peers. Or, does doing well in this game not matter at all? |

Sometimes it can be about HOW you got that well that matters. Rail Tank snipers who park themselves on the redline getting high KDRs don't get any respect compared to say a Scout with a nova knife or a dropship pilot trying to help his team.

Most people don't respect anyone that kills them because they refuse to accept anyone could be better than them. Generally, people die to 'cheap' tactics or 'bullshit'.
