For the last few weeks I've been trying lots of weird and wonderfully entertaining suit builds that are different from my usual playstyle, ( cal logi)
Highlights so far include, 4 myrofibs, 2 damps and 2 kinkats on my CK.0. For punchy punchy time.
Also for adrenaline fueled hilarity I am having a ball in this...
Dren logi bpo, dren swarms, 2 Comp damps, 2 comp damage mods, av nades, proxies, remotes, nanohive.
After using remotes as my only anti infantry weapon I'm really tempted to get lvl5 demolitions just to mess around mad bomber style, any suggestions/ recommendations?

I threw on a shield logi suit that i'd butchered to be a frontline armor tanked kill suit last nite and my squadmates commando pulled out a rep tool and started following me...
Kinda blew my mind, shield logi getting armor reps from a heavy suit.
Yer I almost went comando , still could but I'm having trouble putting the points in when I know there are new races just around the corner.

First step: Call in LAV.
Second step: Drive to enemy.
Third step: Use Proximity mines to blow up enemy.
Fourth step: If the LAV didn't get blown up or stolen while you were busy, hop back in and repeat from second step.
Fifth step (if fourth didn't reset you): Go back to first step.
5 should only happen if the condition applied to 4 is inapplicable. You don't intentionally let the LAV get stolen or destroyed, but the script accounts for the possibility. |

I had the same feeling as the OP before, now I'm not great, but meh here are my rules for a challenge.
Rule 1: only using BPO gear, if there is no BPO it can not be used.
Rule 2: All matches must be recorded and posted online.
Rule 3: play only for Caldari in FW or in Domination Matches.
yeah, those make the game a bit more interesting

Yer I've got a bpo suit for every occasion, they are my default. They are awesome.
600+ hp and prof 5 on my bpo weapon.
Think I'll have to start doing cal fw if only for a target rich enviroment.

I know just being a scout/light suit is a big enough challenge but I through in the rest just in case you looking to really test yourself.

It is largely luck at those distances. Its VERY difficult to predict the direction of someone's movement, but if you can guess their intentions, you can increase your chances of scoring a hit. You have to kind of get into their head a bit, which can be very difficult when you are trying to focus on aiming, projectile velocity, projectile arc, ect... There are a lot of different things you have to keep track of at once.
I was fortunate enough to be in an elevated position for my kill. They were also trying to get up a hill, so their movements were fairly predictable as well. Even with the stars aligned so well for me, I had to fire 4 times before I hit them.
If I had to say, +120m Plasma Cannon kills are the hardest thing to do in the game, hands down.

There is few more hard to to things in DUST ;)
My personal 'hard thing to do' is kill landing ppl before land(any weapon). Some ppl do this with sniper rifle (nice)
At last I add you my personal chalanges to achieve:
- kill running out at full speed LAV driver with sniper rifle (350m+ - headshot, behind 10m gap thru two building)
- kill jumping out HAV! from tall building before it land .. with assault FG ;)
- and daily routine - kill first in match, die last ;) |

I'm talking about an infantry kill. Destroying an HAV with a Cannon is a feat in itself though... especially at 175m.
