Definitely UP.

I used it exclusively for two weeks once, kills are just an absolute pain to get with it. Even with two complex damage mods stacked on an Auto SCR, it just feels like it's shooting BB's at enemies. The visual effect of the gun bouncing around everywhere, and the strobe light effect of the shots do not help this weapon either.

I by far prefer the semi auto SCR over the auto SCR any day.

Apparently, Night is the only one who gets the point. Weapons don't have to kill.

That is the inverse of what should happen based on damage profiles.

Call me FOTM chaser but I swapped to CR after long time playing with aSCR (Dislike the normal scr. Shots should leave when you PRESS the trigger. Not when you release it ha.) The ascr just feels too light. (Prof and SS 3 in it.)

Also the very next day scrambler rifles were introduced I made a post about assault versions recoil which still seems like overkill. It feels like I imagine Parkinson's to be honest.

Good weapon but... something is off.

I picked my AScr up last night by happenstance... I think I'm going to remake all my suits using them again. It felt so good to be back to using my first true love (in chrome, it was just whatever AR or SMG I could fit on my Logi Suit).

I tend to aim more for getting Assists instead of kills. 30 or 40 assists is just a lot of fun. Especially if I'm walking my Heavy, tearing down shields so he can conserve ammo wrecking their armor is awesome.

Actually, the damage profiles are ScR with Shields and RR with Armor, so the fact that I got more kills makes sense.

I use one with my Gallente support-logi. For me, in this suit, it's about the perfect fit. I wouldn't want it in any other, though. About all the other rifle variants are better at killing people, me thinks.

For suppressive fire, it's a great weapon, thanks to the bonus against shields, the good range and the big magazine. Even the (for kills rather interfering) kick can sometimes help in this regard, if your goal is to just scare your enemies into cover, so you can revive someone, or give others an opportunity to advance. And while the short TTK sadly made this tactic a lot less important, it still has its uses.
The mentioned big magazine and overall amount of ammo also helps if you don't have a sidearm to switch to, and/or don't want to waste all your precious hives just for yourself.
