This seems like a good place to put this: A friend of mine uses the ADV AScR, and I use a STD RR. We were on the bridge on the one where you capture A, D, and E. We stood there for 3-4 minutes, killing EVERYTHING. I killed TEN people, while she killed 4-5 of them. Anyways, we were perfectly balanced, as she is also Gallente, and I'm Caldari, so Armor AND shield tanking.
They got so mad they dropped an OB on US, because we killed them ALL. I got 25 kills that match.
And this happened TONIGHT.
I don't need luck, I have ammo.

Apparently, Night is the only one who gets the point. Weapons don't have to kill.

And this happened TONIGHT. Apparently, Night is the only one who gets the point. Weapons don't have to kill. That is the inverse of what should happen based on damage profiles. Especially with ADV vs STD, you'd think the ADV would gain more kills
Actually, the damage profiles are ScR with Shields and RR with Armor, so the fact that I got more kills makes sense.

Exactly. while I got credit for the kills, she actually did half the damage. And while she reloaded, I shot and vice versa.
Incidentally, I wonder what those dudes were thinking. "They can't be doing this alone, they have to have help somewhere. No way 2 people on an open bridge can take us out like this."
If they had focused on her, rather than me, they might have killed us. She was a logi, after all, and I was the one tanking the damage, as she kept me healed. Also, I'm shields, so I'm naturally harder to kill at range.
