I think the weapon is actually great when compared to the AR; bigger magazine, nice sight, much more range, only a small amount less DPS. The aSCR is far from OP in my opinion. I used the aSCR as my main weapon until I managed to get good at the regular (tactical) SCRs, now I'm addicted to the regular SCR + Amarr assault, but I still use the aSCR on some of my logis.

I dislike you. I really dislike you right now. I know the aScR is rather well balanced but as a shield tanker I absolutely despise that thing. Id rather take on a Boundless CR or Kaalakiota RR then a Carthum aScR.
That's because the RR, and arguably the CR are overpowered. Using overpowered weapons as a standard of comparison will make everything else always look underpowered.

(-.-) I meant I would rather face the OP weapons in combat than an aScR as it is specifically designed to kill shields and I'm a shield tanker. Where as the RR and CR are armor killers. no seriously the sScR makes 500+ shield look like tissue paper. Where as with the RR and CR shields have a slightly better chance against them.
