lol no offence as I'm entirely neautral here but this is just my thoughts on your opening statement.
1 your military training doesn't work much here. It isn't RL & all fighting is within a small zone that's surrounded by invisible walls. As a sniper in Dust you can't camo yourself much since how open it is.
Not all military people are particularly good at video games either.
Also people can see where they generally got shot from upon death a.k.a the red pointy arrow thing which appears upon getting hit.
Your gun is not supressed & has limited ammo. Everyone knows the sniper spots & everyone knows a good sniper hides well (which is hard to do in Dust) and after each kill moves location (most open to die then). Not to mention they can dedicate a entire orbital just to you.
I've willing bonzied a sniper in a red zone using my cheapest fit & cheapest dropship once. I enjoyed killing him in his comfort zone in his little pricey nice proto sniper fit. More ISK for me.
Next of all you obviously haven't heard the story of "The 300" around 90% of most elite Dust players are taken by influential & top Mega corporations your 200 won't matter if they're all newbies going against pro's. Or perhaps you have heard & your lieing to yourself thinking whatever you got is better then AE.
Bad idea to be underestimating your opponent.
AE probably won't fall to you it'll be more likely due to the ripple effect or of a power greater or equal to they're own or both.
You may have 10 but AE probably has more money then all 10 quite possibly which will help them with they're war effort. Not to mention allies & connections.
Once the campaign is on how long will it last? AE can simply hold out till your side falls due to the valuables you aren't counting which are as follows - ISK, loyalty, possible betrayal, spies, boredom, the nonestop fighting, RL lives, war tested, etc.
Not to mention you've promptly just now told AE "OH btw AE your going to get attacked around this specific time" to which AE replies "Oh? Really???? Ty for the heads-up" - poof, their went the element of suprise. Obviously your not trying to make this post cause.... lol "panic" in AE because that just won't happen.
Furthermore just how loyal are these 10 to your cause? Will they follow it to the end. Also you miscount 1 simple thing - corporations are NOT a Bee Hive as you see them the swarm won't follow if the leader goes a certain way without they're members ALL thinking the same as they're leader, corporations are made of people.
Your 10 corporations may sum up to 200+ but are those 200+ PC ready & always active? Does every 1 of that 200+ know they're leaders as if they're leader is a best friend since childhood? Do they see you Ghost the same way? Are you near BFF with every single 1 of that 200+ or do they know you through they're BFF & know enough of you to see it through? If not then it begs alot of questions & brings out the issues I mentioned above.
This post seems almost desperate for something? Ah yes it's a ralley cry - if you were so sure in your 10 & your connections you wouldn't need this post plus you can get more help via word around through your 10 & your connections.
The best you can remotely do & that's IF you are good enough set is make it look good at the start & then begin to fail after campaign start.
I trust you know this IS New Eden.
Or maybe your just saying all this because you know AE will be getting attacked at that time anyway & are trying to get some credit/also throw fuel to the soon to be fire anyway? Are these 10 just allowing you to do this for personal benefit & honestly don't care much?
Who knows but I find all this.... unlikely. |
