A lot of poeple here want a respec with the 1.8 patch, so i came with this idea with friend
What about make a option to pay to have a respec? And not a simple respec for all SP, each section of your tree SP need to be pay to do a respec.
I mean, if you want to respec your dropsuit tree skill it's example 5$, you want to respec your weaponry tree skill it's 5$...so you finaly pay 10$ for those 2 tree skills.
So I think this could be another way to make easy money for you CCP and make people happy.
In DC Universe it's work that way, you can pay to change the name of your character, power and almost everything.
So what do you think CCP?

so what? don't tell me you didn't have pay for booster?? this is a free game and all the developement team need money to come up with update and new stuff. They need to find a way to make easy money and i'm ok with that.

Its one thing to want a respec because you're just tired of the stuff you skilled into (I wouldn't mind a paid respec for that), but its a completely different thing when CCP is changing the stats, bonuses, and slot layouts of suits. Such big fundamental things completely invalidates our choices, like buying a million dollar sports car, and then the manufacturers break into your garage, and change the car into a broken down Volvo; in such a case, you would feel that a refund for that car is something you are entitled to, likewise I feel that the 1.8 changes mean we are entitled to a SP refund (of dropsuit command skills at least) for free.

If you mean just for this 1 opportunity because of the patch, sure.
If you mean a pay to respec in general, HEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLL NO.
The reason why 1 respec is good is because people who made mistakes in the past can correct them, offering to respec whenever you want if you cough of the dough makes this game 100% pay to win, you can get in to the fit of the month, EVERY month, and long term investment means nothing.

paying for more skill points is one thing, paying to put them wherever you want just because it's better at the time is a game changer, people have spent over $400 on this game, you think they would have a problem spending 5 more to do something like max out tanks for a week just for ***** and giggles?
